My dog was skeptical of this thing at first and wouldn’t eat of it. He’s used to bowls on the floor. Within three meals, he was eating out of the feeder. It’s perfect for his posture; he doesn’t have to bend his neck down to eat (I have a large Labrador retriever). I bought it for the ergonomics but it also decreases the amount of water on the floor after he drinks. He basically dunks his head in the bowl and the walls away. The water runs off his chin and gets all over the floor. I think the feeder makes it easier for him to drink without making a mess and it has a return where the water runs into the platform. The legs are cheaply made and were a bit of a hassle to get on the feeder

One of my dogs is an incredibly messy eater. We've tried mats and tall bowls, and this is the first thing that has worked. Absolutely love it, and he figured it out right away. Added bonus, no fussing over whose bowl is whose!

My black lab has such a hard time getting motivated to eat or sometimes gets bored by eating. We tried everything to paper plates, puzzle bowls, slow feeder puzzles, regular bowls, even baby plates! He always gets tired of the same old same old. Immediately he took to this! Our vet recommended us trying a higher bowl & so far he seems more eager to eat! Thanks Neater Feeder!

My dogs slobber so much we have had to use towels on the floor. This product has really helped with this slip hazard. A def 5 out of 5
