I know they are pushing this for the Blink camera, but it can also work with other cameras/lights. The rated load capacity is 1lb so I wouldn't walk away from it if you put a heavier load on it. As you can see in the photo I exceeded that load capacity by a bit. I think any action camera with a 1/4"-20 attachment would be fine with this. Also, smaller light fixtures should be fine as well. The upside of this type of clamp is speed, It is so easy to attach and remove that it makes setup a breeze.

I used a similar model for my blink mini and it worked so well that I ordered another for my blink outdoor camera. These clamp mounts have multiple moving joints that allow the cam to be mounted in almost any position. The locking knob will release and secure all joints simultaneously. I like how easy it is to change the cam position and then quickly lock it in place. The clamp plates are covered with something described as silicone, but they have a weird smell that's more like rubber or burned plastic. This camera mount is heavier and more sturdy than it looks. I think these clamp mounts are a great choice when you need to install a cam in a difficult location.

I have some twist mounts for my outdoor security cameras that work very well, but there are places where you can't wrap with the twist mount securely, for example, the top of a fence. This camp mount does a great job left by the twist mounts. The camp force is quite high, and the rubber pads on the camp give it some traction. The mounting arm can be adjusted on 3 axises. The real beauty though is the ability to lock down the arm with just one knob. This is really convenient for positioning the camera just how you want.

I am using this with Blink camera where I don’t have a good way to mount it without drilling into the wall. With this mount I can use it where ever it can clip to. Like a table, shelf, etc. Also with the mount there is an articulating are that allows you to adjust it to almost any angle to wish. Made from quality metal. Great mount if you’re needing one.

Clamps like this have many uses, especially in a photo studio. Not just for blink cameras. I would buy this again for sure.

This camera clip works for other lightweight cameras or lights too. The clamp is large and has a rubberized cover to prevent slippage. It's very quick to clamp and re-position.The magic arm works well too, is rock solid and can easily handle heavier weights than Blink cameras.
