It does not get hot at all even on the highest setting

This doesn't even heat as well as a heating pad. It is extremely convenient however. Still can't tell if it's machine washable or not.

I bought it yesterday and it arrived today and I’m wearing it right now and it works really well lightweight and very comfortable

Positives:- Feels nice and somewhat warm - but only somewhat- Shuts off upon power loss - adds safety- Power profile indicates that it uses some sensing, it works on a duty cycle, consumes less than 100W constantNeutral: the power cord is directional, it is not obvious from the pictures and you can notice it only if you know what you're looking at. If your power outlet is on your left, prepare for some inconvenienceNegatives:- Doesn't heat anywhere close to advertised temperature; max I could observe was a consistent 108F at the hottest spot with the ambient temperature being 70F. The picture says the hottest should be at 149F, the description says 135F. I wouldn't contribute this to insufficient power, but rather to a firmware deficiency in determining how much energy to apply- Not insulated, the outside surface is almost as hot as the inside - I measured 102F. This makes the device consume more energy than it otherwise would. I'd wrap into some insulation, but there's no say how that will do to the sensor- The design suggests that it can be taken apart for cleaning, but the fabric is so thin, I don't want to risk tearing it while doing soVerdict: I'd give it a 3, but family members insist that it's good enough for them even they do indicate that it is not warm but lukewarm. YMMV.

This is such a helpful product for someone who tends to have cold feet and hands but does not like turning the heater too high. I enjoy using it when I am doing desk work at home and relaxing on the couch. I recommend it to people who tend to do a lot of desk work to keep their feet warm and so that they feel good in the winter.

Love the design of these things This is the second one we've ordered. And sure, they don't get as warm as a regular flat heating pad. But just the way that they're designed , it's warmer without heat at all because it covers your entire foot. I love that this one unzips but as a flat heating pad, it would not get warm enough for me. But what it's made for - to snuggle your feet and keep them warm, it's perfect.
