This heating pad has worked great so far, but I had no idea how huge it would be. Works well, though.

I have already written one review, but I will do it again. I feel as snug as bug in a rug when my back and neck are aching. I put it in my shoulders snap it under my chin and sit back, relax and let the heat work.

First thing, we bought the 'Sable XXX-Large Electric Heating Pad, Item # SA-BD031' first (also available on Amazon), because it seemed to be the best of these kind of whole back/neck heating pads. It was the only one with a Lifetime Warranty. But come to find out when I received it, the controller and the heating pad itself (heating element) are rated at two different wattages. Now why would this be??? The controller is rated at 120 watts, and the heating element is only rated at 80 watts. NOW it is clear to me why all the reviews stated that the heating pad did not get hot enough. Well, suffice it to say that that one is a piece of crap. And, I paid way too much at over $50 dollars for it. Well, after not being satisfied with that one, we looked for another one and found this one, the 'Cure Choice XL Electric Heating Pad for Back Pain Relief, Ultra Soft 24"x33, Item # CCVHP-Magenta'. It is WAY better and was way cheaper, and still has a Lifetime Warranty! It is more powerful at an 135 watt rating and ACTUALLY gets hot, and both the controller and element are rated at the SAME wattage, how it should be, not something misleading like the 'Sable' brand one. The other thing is it has an actual TRUE digital display, with four input buttons (not just two), an actual informative active digital read-out, 6 heat settings, and 3 timer settings. It is definitely WAY better technology than the 'Sable' brand, and anything else I found on Amazon. I wish I would have found it first, but didn't even see it listed on Amazon when I bought the first one, the 'Sable'. Just be aware that if you decide to purchase this one, the 'Cure Choice' brand, you have to email them with your receipt at [email protected] to receive the Lifetime Warranty. I believe it is the best of these types of heating pads on the market, for sure.
