Wished I had known about this product sooner. You have no idea how many times I had to apply some saliva on the suction cup for my Dash Cam trying to keep them in place without losing the suction. This adhesive keeps the suction cup in its place even during a hot California weather.

I actually almost didn't buy this product because of 14% one-star ratings. I must say this product has worked great for me. For some reason the suction cup on my dash cam would no longer adhere to my windshield at all. I have had this on the windshield for about a week now and it's still attached. I have always liked 3M products. They usually have excellent products. It can be a little difficult to install because the pads are so sticky. Just make sure you measure the diameter of your suction cup and get the right size. I had a small 2-1/4" suction cup. I would not recommend this for someone that wants to remove their suction cup from their windshield frequently.

I have some of the older IKEA suction cup racks for the shower, the adhesive they had from the factory is long gone after a few moves. They still worked but would suddenly fall when they lost suction due to being bumped hard or some water hitting them too much. These seemed to measure the same dimensions when checking the details and they turned out to be the perfect size. Time will tell how they hold up since I just put them on. If I don’t update this review you can assume they worked out for me. Update: just bought a second set of these because I had a few more suction cups to adhere, they have held up wonderfully and will buy more if I ever have to take these suction cups off and put them back up.

Adhesion to the windshield seems like it would have worked but even after cleaning the suction cup with isopropyl it still failed to hold and would fall. Maybe if I use Gorilla Glue between the suction cup and the pad it can work. IDK, nice idea but not ideal for my needs, dashcam use. Maybe if the detector suction cup starts to fail I'll try it on that since I have extras.

This is good insurance that my Red Tiger dash cam will stay in place.3M products are the best choice when it comes to adhesion.No problems, great product!

This is the only adhesive to sucessfully stick a dashcam suction cup partially onto the black halftone texture, or windshield frit, found on OEM glass. It's a bit tricky to google and find the solution to this so I'm hoping this will help others. This 3M adhesive holds securely to the slight texture of the black pattern, yet it can be carefully removed if you must. The texture is what prevented just the suction cup to work but this tape does the trick.

Well these did fit well and was fairly sticky. Only lasted about 2 months before it fell off completely. Granted we had some pretty hot days to contend with. So overall they worked good, could have been better. Glad it's a multi pack so can put another one on and have my phone holder where I want it. Not peeling off from the mount very good, keeps breaking into small pieces.

I bought a magnetic mount for my phone, and the adhesive that came with it was pathetic. Laughably bad. Wouldn’t stick. I was going to bin it and my wife ordered these on my account. I tried one and it’s done exactly the job the first one should have done! What strength in the blimmin thing! I’ve bumped it, knocked it, hung things over it and all round jostled and “bad used” it! And it’s still rock solid.So get these. Cheap, amazing value for the money, and stronger than a Scotsman holding onto a penny. (I’m a Scot, we’re allowed to say such things!! lol!)Seriously, if you need an adhesive for your dashcam, phone mount, or anything of such a nature, or else you need something similar around the home, THIS is your preferred option - of should be, and I don’t say such things lightly!Many thanks guys!Have a better one!

Only had it fixed for 1 week but seems very secure so far.Slightly larger than the pad it needed to be attached to but not a problem when fitted.

It did not fix the suction cup problem with the dashcam still connected.I have edited this review as I eventually managed to make these work, I have a dash cam that it difficultto remove the sucker, so my first 3 attempts were with the cam connected. The sticky pad does nothave enough adhesion to hold the cam in the first 24 hours. Removing the sucker from the dash camis essential and sticking the sucker to the screen on it's own for 24 hours otherwise these do not work.
