Product description ❤ Pure Italian "Crêpe de Chine" silk large shawl. Design inspired by a flock of white swans flying away over the horizon. Hand stitched edges. Limited production made in Barcelona. Legal Disclaimer Cleaning and washing silk is surprisingly easy if certain precautions are observed. Optimal silk care will ensure longer and lustrous life to the garment. Cleaning and washing silk fabric, in case of our scarves and ties, is definitely simple and convenient. Washing: hand washing is advice, silk is a natural protein fiber so do not use harsh detergents that contain bleaches or brighteners - use only PH neutral detergents. Soaking silk for any more than a few minutes should be avoided. Drying: do not wring or twist, roll in towel to extract water. Avoid drying silk in direct sunlight. Either hang the silk scarf to dry, it will hold its shape or put the silk scarf between two white towels and let it dry horizontally by itself. Wet silk may yellow in direct sunlight or on a radiator. We do not recommend drying silk in a clothes dryer since it can damage the scarf. Ironing: always iron the scarf when wet/humid using medium settings or cool iron setting ("Silk" setting on the iron or 2 points - 100ºC to 150ºC). Too much heat can dull or burn silk fabric, do not iron for a long period of time. If the scarf is dry, vaporize it with water before ironing. Do not wet locally as this may cause rings. Storage: keep the scarf rolled instead of folded so the fibers do not suffer for a long period of time. If the scarf should be kept for a long period of time, avoid direct light and insects, avoiding, as well, plastic bags, so the fibers can breath.
