I Don't Understand The Negative Reviews!
Super easy to install. The LED lights are extremely bright (in the "motion detection" mode), so I am not sure why there are negative reviews citing dim lights. The slightly dimmer "always on" mode remained lit all night after charging during a day that was NOT full sun. The multiple modes meant that the two lights were able to be appropriately set for two different task "areas". in all, VERY pleased with these inexpensive solar motion lights!

A Nice Pair for the Price
I have two wood sheds that I sometimes need to go to after dark. They don't have electricity available and sometimes it is hard to try to work and hold some type of light. These seemed like they would be a good solution to that problem. The lights were easy to install- a couple of screws to hold the bracket and just slip the light or solar panel into it and it's ready to go. It would be better if the lights could also be moved side to side as well as tilted up and down, but the area that they cover is large enough that this is not really a problem. The lights are bright and the motion detection is perfect for the area. If the lights are turned on, rather than motion detection, they stay powered for 5 or 6 hours. They seem to tolerate the weather well. Since they are used at the wood sheds, I might take them down during the warmer months when the sheds are not being used. So, they seem to be a value for the cost and I would get another pair if I needed some rechargable area lights for outdoor use.

Work great on my home!
These lights were the perfect choice to use on the back corners of my home to detect any movement coming into my back yard. I had lights there that ran on regular batteries due to no electrical connection in those areas and was always changing the batteries when the lights stopped working. These lights were just what I was looking for to replace them with and they work great. My backyard gets plenty of sunlight to keep them charged and I don't have to keep changing the batteries. They were very easy to install and set up and I have been very satisfied with them since I put them up.

Fantastic ambient and security light!
I had high hopes for this little light and it did not disappoint. It was easy to install. I removed the back and screwed it directly onto the wood where it would be located. I intended to use one of those picture hanging levels but couldn't find one at the time, so it is slightly askew by a few of millimeters, (3-4). This can make a big difference with some lights because you will be able to see that it is hanging wonky. But that didn't happen here.Once everything was tightened in place, I slid the light into the holder and because the three lights are able to be positioned so easily and in so many ways, you cannot tell that the base holding the light is uneven at all. The lights themselves are evenly positioned and bend to provide a wide range of light across (width) and down (length) my 2-car driveway. And the light output is bright. The battery is excellent and, with a full charge, you will have ambient light and then motion detection light. If there is not a full charge, ie cloudy day, then you will have no ambient light, but the motion detection light will still be there. That is awesome because it's the motion detection that is most important to me. And there is a generous length of cord for deciding the best position to place the solar panel.

Excellent Purchase!
These are fantastic little lights! I love how bright they are, and the motion sensor is really helpful. I feel more secure knowing that someone can't walk into my yard at night without the light going on, and it's helpful to have the back path illuminated at night. They charge well during the day and I am very pleased with how long they last - and super happy that they're not costing me on my electric bill! They are easy to use, easy to put up, and are exactly everything I needed in outside lighting. Especially for the cost, they are an excellent deal. I would 10/10 buy these lights again!

Works well. Good motion sensor. Nice remote. Instructions need an update.
I've been using a lot of solar lights to illuminate detached garages and sheds that don't have electricity. When the sun sets early in the cooler months it can be real tricky navigating my way to and from the house. This set of lights has done a nice job. Because of the long cord I'm able to get the solar panel into a position where it takes the most advantage of the shorter days. The lights have a decent sensor on them and seem to trigger around 15 feet. The remote is nice because after using them for a few days you might decide you want to change the mode and instead of getting a ladder out and climbing up to push a button I can just point the remote and change the mode. My instruction pamphlet had an error in it. I listed two of the Modes the same. The web page has it correct. Check your instructions, check the web page, update the instructions and then tape the remote to the instructions and store them somewhere so you can find them again in six months. The one drawback I did have with these lights was how they determined when it was dark. The solar panel determines when it's dark, not the lamp. So if the solar panel is in a bright area but the lamp is in a dark area the lamp will not light up. I would like to have seen a Mode where motion-only activates the light day or night. You can do this but it requires you to unscrew the lamp from the solar panel when you want to do it, then screw it back so the lamp charges.

These are great additions to security lighting around the perimeter of the house
These bright lights can blind you as they are that bright. There are multiple settings however. The only part I didn't like is that there is an separate solar panel that you have to install. I would rather have preferred it to be an all in one unit. They are easy to install however. It comes with a mounting bracket for each piece that you screw into the wall/wood first and then slide the panel and light over it. So it causes extra holes in the structure, which I am against doing. There are other brands that have an all in one unit, so that is more convenient. But for the price, this is great and yes you get more flexibility to move the solar panel to a better facing direction for max charging.
