Accuon Digital 4 Channel Timer and Clock

This used to be a Salter product. When the last one broke, I looked to replace it like for like. But then I read the reviews. The replacement was, apparently, shoddily-made and in no way favourably comparable to the original. So I had to dig further. Thank goodness I did. I came across what was definitely the EXACT same product, now marketed by Accruon. It's brilliant. It's the spitting image of the last one (apart from the Accruon logo) and it will last just as long. Incidentally, the only reason the last one gave up the ghost was because I left it too near the Aga hotplate & the buttons melted. This is the best timer we've ever had - easy buttons, accurate timing, brilliant 4-way timer (so much more useful than you realise till you need it) and top class in every way. A special thank you to Amazon reviewers who stopped me buying its cheap and substandard replacement!

This is the best digital timer on a market filled with cheap, poorly made products. It was previously available under the Salter brand, then it seemed to disappear for a bit. It's robust, clear, loud enough to hear but not too loud, has four simultaneous timers, 24Hr/12Hr clock, a magnet and a stand. Unlike the new Salter version, the buttons also work properly.The only downside is that currently it has to come from the US, with the associated postage and import fees. I'm prepared to pay this because it's exactly what I need; all the same it would be nice if I could get one from within the UK.

This item was on sale in the UK under the Salter brand, and we found it an excellent item of kitchen gear. It expired after some 10 years of use and abuse.The Accuon successor appears to do all its Salter did but assembly is a bit shoddy, with some of the selection buttons out of line (but operating). In short, an acceptable product despite an apparent decline in quality controls.

Bought to replace a lost timer, my original was a Salter 4 way kitchen timer and to be honest I never really liked it anyway, the buttons wobbled when you used it it was a faff to set, this one however is great a good positive none wobbly click when you press one down, had to wait for it to come from the USA Amazon should stock them for the UK market it's a winner!

Very useful for cooking, as can set 4 different timers. Appears well made. Annoying you can only get it from America, but it arrived fairly quickly (within a week of ordering).

If attached to a fridge it’s very clumsy to use. When you pull it off the fridge the battery pops out of the back. Not great

Much better quality than many other timers like this. I highly recommend
