Snap Hoop Monster for Janome® (8" x 14") Magnetic Embroidery Hoop for Machine Embroidery

This is a great product and makes rehooping much easier, especially for edge-to-edge embroidery quilting. However, the hoop is slightly off center making the needle throat bump against the plastic hoop when against the right long edge of the hoop (on my Janome 550e). As long as you take the time to properly line up your pattern and account for the off-center, this is a great addition to a hoop collection. That said, the price is a little high for what it is.

I purchased the snap hoop to streamline my embroidery process, but the poor hinge quality, made of fragile plastic, resulted in it breaking on the first use. Despite seeing negative reviews, I took a chance, hoping for convenience. Unfortunately, the product fell short, and I recommend against it due to durability concerns.
