This cake carrier box was big enough for two cake tiers out of three. I had a 12" cake drum base, a 10" for my first tier and an 8" cake for my second tier with a dowl rod through both of them. For how tall my dowel rod was, I wasn't able to close the top part completely, but it still worked. I wish I would have bought these a long time ago. I traveled 3 hours with it to a wedding location and didn't have a worry at all about it not traveling safely. Which was a first. IYKYK 🤣 I was able to assemble it with ease and added some tape to the side for extra support and did the job!

Some reviewers reported that these had a smell. Mine did not. The box was easy to assemble. I wish I could have bought just one. I transported a cake across state lines and it was sturdy. It was fairly easy to put the cake in to by myself. I would recommend it for a two tier wedding cake.

I liked the triple layer bottom of the box and the window. The top where the handle is didn’t stay locked in place like I would’ve liked but overall a great box for heavy/tall cakes. Will use again.

I bought these cake boxes to transport my cakes in that I make for people. The boxes are perfect for the height of my cakes, but I didn’t feel they were sturdy enough to be able to pick up the entire cake with the handles on top of the box. The cardboard that the boxes are made of are kind of thick, but I just didn’t feel it was safe enough to pick up the box and cake together by the handle. I didn’t want to have cake all over the floor and then have to start over since I put so much work into my cakes. The boxes would be great for a high cake that isn’t very heavy. Overall, these cake boxes are great for smaller cakes. I will definitely buy again, just not to use for my heavier cakes.

I used the boxes to carry my besties wedding cake to the venue. It looked so classy!! It’s super convenient. Ill definitely use them again.Very easy to put together! Perfect height.

These boxes are sturdy, easy to put together, and look very nice! As far as holding weight, I personally trust NOTHING to hold a cake I worked hard on by the handle! I always keep a hand underneath. However, my husband is a little braver than me and he DID lift it by the handle (2 tier cake) and it held up fine. I will definitely purchase more.

when assembled, gaps were left open. no sturdiness whatsoever. unable to hold it just from the handles and sides (but as a caker, why would you anyway i guess). hobby lobby has sturdier boxes than these and those are 9.00/box. it also damaged the 2 tier cake during a car ride on the very top. overall, would not recommend and will not be purchasing again.
