These are exceptional!I needed chestnuts for a Beef Wellington recipe out of season.I am VERY familiar with Fresh Chestnuts roasted perfectly.These came so close, and were so convenient that I have to say they are better.The packaging is excessive and wasteful, but I get it. For this quality you need this type of packaging.I am have to order these for snacks and not just for over the top recipes!Thank You, these are almost better than fresh chestnuts, roasted on demand!

They are not as soft, fresh, flavorful, as the one package I bought in the grocery store, which is why I bought them to begin with. Looking at other sellers for this reason.

These chestnuts are something I bought for my mom because she remembers back in Pennsylvania when she was younger, they would have roasted chestnuts all the time. And you could just stop on the side of the road and get them. Well they don't have those anymore in arizona anyway. I bought these for my mom. And she loved them very happy. Thank you.

Tasted these for the first time when I was on vacation visiting a friend. I really like eating hot roasted chestnuts but have always HATED peeling them, especially after they cool down. These are wonderful, tasty and sooo convenient. Even though there's no sweetener listed on the ingredient list, they are mildly sweet and delicious. Great to have on hand for snacks and require no refrigeration. Have no idea if it's a good value for its price but I like them and would definitely buy again.

If you love chestnuts, but hate cooking them in the oven you will love this snack product. The flavor is great. The freshness is good and the consistency is there. I put them in the microwave for about 10 seconds just to pretend they came out of the oven instead of a package.
