Expensive but worth it. Super lightweight and quick to errect. It is pretty stable as long as you don’t quite fully extend. I am 5’10” and I find the full height just right. There is a hole on which you can add a bag hook, shame yhat does not come as standard. But otherwise, I love this travel tripod. If you are looking for stability first weight second, then look elsewhere. But if you are looking for the best blanace between weight and performance on the go, this is it.

I loved the look of this tripod from the start, and when I purchased this, there was a nice offer to get a camera bag for absolutely FREE from Vanguard! And needing a camera bag, it couldn’t have been a better offer.This being my second tripod, coming from a much heavier, and bigger tripod, I found this to be very light, and easy to use. The twist lock legs are a dream to use, saving so much time over my previous clip locks. The ball head is strong, has a handy level on top and allows for vertical compositions, which is a nice feature.Long story short, it’s a very sturdy tripod with many time saving features, and also the fact it’s portable to travel with, I could not complain.I would recommend highly and I hope this small review helps others.

This is beautifully made and lightweight but sturdy, pretty much as advertised. Things like the ball head are extremely well machined and all the actions are clearly high quality. The one con are the instructions which for an item of this cost are poor. It took me two hours just to figure out how to open it and then how to use the low angle, and this was after watching some videos online, and I've still not figured out how the monopod is used other than unscrewing it and in fact this feature is not even mentioned in the instructions! Better written instructions on the features or ideally put some videos up hence 4 stars.

Lightweight and of a good quality construction. Find it quite quick to put up, although the swing through centre column is a touch heavy and could be more stable when extended. You can remove the centre column and attach the ball head to a plate on the top, this makes it super light however you need an Alan key to remove the ball head.I did like the fact that the bag can accommodate the tripod with the ball head attached if you are not using the centre column.

This tripod it’s solid and the construction it is with excellent material, carbon fiber and soft rubber. It’s coming with a carry bag, lightweight and solid like a rock, good value for the money.

I'm so pleased I researched this purchase before buying as it's a brilliant light weight tripod.I've mainly use it for photos but have also attached a video head to it and it's been great.Folds up nice and small and is very adjustable. The legs are adjusted by spinning the adjusters which is much faster than cheaper tripods that use plastic clamps (that I always worry will snap!)Can't quite work out how to turn it into a monopod yet! Have unscrewed the leg but then can't work out what to do after that - need to find the manual for that!

Lightweight, compact and takes up little room in suitcase. It is a quality bit of kit - sturdy and easy to use and position. Taken it on two holidays so far, used it both times for night shots with some great results. Can't fault it.

When I 1st saw the bag that came with the tripod I was very impressed by the weight and size. The bag that came with it looked strong and sturdy. It had a carrying handle and a handy shoulder strap.On opening the bag and taking out the tripod, I was pleasantly surprised at the weight and feel of it. It took me a few seconds to find the small press button to release and allow the centre column to rotate to the upright position. The ball-head looked good and easy to use. It also came with an attachment to change it too a screw plate I 🤔 think as there were no instructions provided in the bag. On opening the legs for the 1st time i found you can easily and quickly twist each sections release, and slide out the leg lengths.As I tried to put up the tripod for the 1st timeI noticed that the bottom section on one of the legs had snapped. It had also came out of bottom of the leg too. Being made of carbon fibre, I had no way of repairing it.It's a real shame that I had to return the item as I really liked it, plus unfortunately it was the last 1 in Amazon stock so my money was returned once I had returned the tripod. I would have awarded it 5 stars but knocked off 1 due to the item being damaged

Good tripod for beginners.

Ok so ive tested this with various weights and this is what it can and cannot support:Nikon d750 with 35 mm, 50 mm primes - very sturdyNikon d750 with wide angle (tamron 15-30 or nikon 14-28) - sturdy unless weather is very windyNikon d750 with 70-200 (sturdy unless very windy)Nikon d750 with nikon 200 - 500 (not sturdy, some people have recommended this but its just too heavy for this tripod)The tripod is light and folds up beautifully. Perfect for travel. If ur setup is heavy however, you will need a heavy tripod). Very good value too. Hope this helps.
