Girault Soft Pastels- Set of 50 Assorted Gray Tones

I’ve tried many of the good brands and I like these best. They are just the right degree of softness to give rich color, but are firm enough not to crumble easily. A lot like Ludwig’s, but just a touch firmer.I also like that they are thinner so I can do details.

This is the greatest box of pastels, ever. I love all the colors, they are just the most beautiful and necessary colors for good landscape painting. Add a few blues and some strong fresh greens and you have allthe colors you need for most landscapes.The problem with most pastel sets is that you get all these really bright, strong colors that really can't even be used in real life, with this set added to those too bright sets you can paint anywhere, anytime. Don't even think of leaving home without it! Perfect for those plein air trips to Tuscany!!
