Worked for MMI / CD player 2014 S4
I used this to help with the install of an Android replacement screen. I was able to easily remove the unit from the dash.Tip: After using it, I have some recommendations. First push the keys in slowly just until it grabs onto the unit then pull it out. I pushed one all the way in and it was hard to release (not the key fault but more of an Audi thing). To release push the clip on the side in. For Audi’s I would recommend a small screw driver if it feels locked in.

Works exactly as intended, easy to use, to take them out push them from the side of the mmi after you pull it out, it will break if you just yank it out

CHEAP CRAP & Cut Outs get STUCK!
These DIDN'T fit 2015 Audi S5 properly and could NOT be removed from my stereo after removal. CHEAP CRAP!!! These got stuck in my MMI system, and had to almost break my Audi MMI tabs to get these out!!!

Much nicer than the average stereo removal tool
Definitely not as nice as the brand name stereo removal tool (also much much cheaper), but much nicer than most of the cheap ones in Amazon. By the looks of it, the metal goes all the way in the small grip / handle, a definite plus. Grip is nice and firm, quality plastic, well finished, doesn't get into your fingers while trying to use it. And yeah, works as intended, gets a VW radio out in 1 min.
