Michael Kenna: Forms of Japan Hardcover – Illustrated, 20 Aug. 2015

The book really is amazing. It was bought for me by a friend who knows that I like Michael Kenna. I am pleased to say the least, the images are beautiful.It is however a big and heavy thing. It has some slight damage. I’m wondering if this is due to the new Amazon paper bag packaging being used as opposed to a cardboard box?

A work of beauty. If I could take a picture half as good I'd be shouting from the roof tops. I dislike black and white but I just cannot imagine these pictures being any better for colour. Many wouldn't even work if they were. Don't look at more then eight or nine a day, they get lost in your head if you do, study and enjoy them slowly. A Book to cherish.

Michael Kenna's seemingly simple and minimalist black and white photographs are anything but, the result of decades of experimentation with the camera and in the darkroom. A true masterpiece from a master.

Got it for a friend, he loved it! Was very taken aback. Had to kick him out before he cried.The photos are also very pretty.

Good book unfortunately amazon delivery crushed the corners and dents up side of cover returned as damaged

Excellent book about the seeming simplicity of Japan. Which of course is far from the truth in reality of everyday life there but the images are stunning here.

Magical images from a master

Stunning look into Kenna's work. The book feels luxurious and the print quality is amazing.

Bravo to the author. The works are exceptional.

I like the book, it is better if photo more clear.
