The Doombringer: Second Book of Cade (Edge Chronicles)

I love The Edge Chronicles! I am so happy that they are continuing them! This was an excellent read with new characters as well as a nice plot that moved along at a good pace and kept me entertained. I enjoy these books since they have a nice combination of tragedy and triumph as well as some darkness. These books paint The Edge as a world were these characters have to fight to survive, but that friendship, honor, kindness,courage, and selflessness are highly prized qualities. It also appears that there will be more! Looking forward to more great reads!

I recommend this book! It's the best book series I've ever read! I feel like I was not reading this book I was living in it. What an awesome Adventure! It's got everything in this book series.

Was it my favorite of the twelve? No. Was it my least favorite? No. Would not reading it been weird since I have read the rest of the series. Of course it would have been. I enjoy their light hearted but yet an older themed fantasy series. I personally love this series and anyone that doesn't I say lets see you do better. :-) Good luck with that.

Front cover is torn and rear cover has been folded. I can understand that these could have happened during the shipping process, but seems more likely that it's been lightly used. The price was still a fair bargain, so a return is unnecessary.

This series takes on an unlikely trend. The protagonist is not per say a hero, but rather just the main subject. He is lowly and that is relatable.This book is just as entertaining as the Chris Riddell blog, 'Farrow Ridges' and it follows a very similar story.No disappointment here

My teen was laughing as he read this. He says the characters are good.

Can't wait for the next one.The Edge Chronicles are my favorite series ever.I would recommend this series to young readers,as it is a great collection of books.That just keeps going through the generations and their stories in the edge.

Supertolle, spannende Abenteuergeschichten. Die Klippenland-Chroniken sind unbedingt zu empfehlen, für jung und alt. Die Zeichnungen passen treffend zum Text, man merkt, dass Autor und Zeichner das Thema harmonisch umsetzen können.

Love this series

I love this series and have been having difficulty getting my hands on a copy in Canada so I'm thrilled to have it however there is nowhere on this page that indicated that this would be a book resold from a library. It is in gently used condition which is great but not impressed that we weren't informed about this when purchasing.

I too despair why the publisher has not released a hardcover edition of this book, my family and I have been collecting books since the early 1900's and I was looking forward to passing the tradition and collection on to my grandchildren, not in this instance it would seem, shame on you Random House. However once again this is a wonderful continuation of the edge chronicles, Mr Stewart and Riddell have managed to do it again. I am not ashamed to say that even at my older age I am a fan of the edge and all its characters from Quint to Cade.Cant wait for the 3rd Cade story, although it will probably again be in paperback. Balance sheet margins win again I assume.
