Finally a healthy salt that actually tastes like salt
All other salt alternatives taste bad but this tastes like real salt (as it is but smaller grains) and you only need half as much. I expect it will become the standard salt for domestic and industrial use worldwide within a few years and save many lives.

As fine as icing sugar, full of flavour
This salty salt is indeed micro-fine - the consistency of icing sugar.I found the pack tricky to open - there's a partly-cut-out plastic part in the lid that needs pushing out / in (well, push in then try and fold it back or extract it fully) and takes some force. Once done, the rotating cover either closes it, allows a fully open gap, or a number of smallish round holes. In use, although a very fine powder, I found that pouring it out of the tube ended up with the salt clumping together rather than being even distributed. Very easy to pour out too much, as well.To be honest, I'm not entirely sure where the fineness of this salt would be a benefit. I certainly wouldn't use it in baking; I think the salt would distribute much more thoroughly and kill the yeast, resulting in a poor rise. For anything wet (cooking etc) having larger crystals isn't an issue as it dissolves anyway. And on top of crusty bread, etc, this lacks the crunchyness of sea salt and doesn't give the "floury" effect of icing sugar as the fine powder clumps together. It's low sodium, but compared to other low sodium salts available from any supermarket, it's very expensive.Certainly different, and if you have an application that absolutely needs very fine salt, then this is for you. Otherwise, maybe not. Having written this, it feels like 4 stars is slightly generous - but it's a novel product and certainly salty, so I won't down-rate it further.

Confusing nutritional information
I go for sodium reduced salt for nutritional reasons, so I want the nutritional information on the pack to be clear. It isn't. It only relates to a “serving”, and the “serving” is said to be “based on average consumption” but why not say how much that is?! There is a reference to a “recommended RI on adults” as 6g per day - which obviously isn’t “a serving”, but also this is NOT a reference intake (RI) or target amount, but rather an upper limit that should not be exceeded for good health. Its application to a reduced sodium product is also not made clear. We are given the calories per 100g but everything else - sodium, carb, fibre, sugars, is “per serving”. There are said to be 150kcal per 100g, yet the amount per serving is given as 150 Calories! The amount of sodium is listed after "per serving" as 1013% RI, which doesn’t make sense for a serving, 100g, or the whole pack.60% is said to be salt (sodium chloride) - it’s not clear what agents constitute the remainder of the engineered microsalt, but the other listed ingredient, maltodextrin, is an agent probably used to coat the salt crystals and improve its flow.Edit: have just noticed that the product information photo on the page (but not the pack) lists a serving size as 100g. Which is silly as a "serving based on average consumption". It also implies a RI (a 'DV' in the photo) of 10g, which is well in excess of the NHS's daily maximum of 6g. I'm none the wiser.

Like flour - too powdery
Is way too powdery, its like icing sugar. Makes pouring it very difficult is is doesn’t flow out of the container well, so ends up coming out in lumps - needs to be sieved like flour. And because its so powdery a lot of it billows up into the air like if pouring flour. So unfortunately the particles are too small or needs a sieve-like pouring shaker as holes are too big currently. Maybe the addition of anti-caking agents would be beneficial, or make the grains bigger.

amazing for popcorn
Microsite 40% Less Sodium Salt, Regular Salt Substitute, Seasoning Salt for Snacks, Full Flavor, Less Sodium, 170 g.This product comes inside of a plastic bag; inside the bag, you'll see the product itself - the product does feel relatively light, but this is because it is powdered - there are about 170 grams of salt inside, and this is enough to last quite a bit of time, mainly if you use this on food like popcorn. as off reviewing, this product costs £7.95 - I think this price is on the pricier side but is worth it (especially if you put this on products that don't usually have salt stick on it.I found the product quite challenging to open, but once I did, the salt came out quickly and not in clumps. It tasted nice to use and dissolved very easily in water (which is good for making food like pasta).the product also features 40% less sodium, so this is good if you're trying to minimise your consumption of it.i definitely recommend this product.

Healthy alternative to regular salt
I am guilty of putting too much salt on my food, so I got this salt to try to cut my sodium intake down. I am glad to say that it tasted just like regular salt, so I've been using it to cook with too and it works wonderfully well. I'll definitely be getting more in the future and would therefore recommend.

Less Sodium without harmful Potassium Chloride
I know we all need less salt in our diet so I decided to try Microsalt. The other 'low-salt' options seem to contain sizeable amounts of Potassium Chloride which I don't want. However Microsalt is pure sodium manufactured in some way to taste more salty but with much less salt! Clever! And it tastes great! I am a convert now, and will only cook with this product for my family and I.
