My kids have a few other goo jit zu toys and these mostly meet my expectations from my previous experiences.Let’s get the most important bit out of the way first and foremost. These smell. Just like all the other ones. They all smell so strange! I make sure my kids keep theirs in a closing container to keep the waft of strange goo chemicals at bay. I’m sure it’s harmless like the gooey Nickelodeon stuff I played with as a kid. Just be aware: these toys are odorous.Anyway, this pair was fun for my kids because one comes with a weapon accessory and has a color changing feature. They got a kick out of that and were happy to play with them right away.So far I’ve never had a durability issue with these toys. Hopefully my puppy never gets ahold of one, though.

One thing that my son loves are toys that stick to the wall, windows, or ceiling. This Goo Jit Zu set fits that bill nicely. He specifically likes the green monster as that's the one that sticks to the wall. It has good sticking power and seems to stay on windows for a while. The color changing ability of the silver figure is fun. When you want to use water it only works with cold water, so keep that in mind if you try to bring it in the tub for water play. The other characteristics of Goo Jit Zu work as expected. They are squishy and flexible and stand up to a large amount of stretchy abuse. Overall this is a great gift for Goo Jit Zu fans.

My daughter has a number of these type of toys so when I saw this set and knew she didn't already have them, I figured it would be a fund gift. I love the creativity of the makers because each toy is a little different with a different effect to play with. It's hard to change up the squishiness but there are subtle differences that distinguish each one. This set comes with one that has color changing abilities when you squeeze it and one with suction abilities. I really like the suction one and stuck it to my daughter's forehead (it held well enough without being so strong that it will leave a mark - though I guess it could if you left it there long enough...). Great toys!

The suction cup on Squidor's mouth works perfectly when put on glass. The hands can be a little touchy but they do eventually work. I feel this guy has the better design. Squeeze him and you can see the boba-like colored goo pellets within him move around.As for Pantaro, I found his all gray torso coloring to be uninteresting, but I do like the distinct looking mace that comes with him. Unfortunately, his face color change in cold water doesn't seem to be working. I've had it in there for a while (I even added ice cubes) and it's barely changing. Also, the portion of this head that changes color is so small, the change doesn't feel worth it.Recommended. Although Pantaro has his flaws, his mace and Squidor make this a desirable Goo-Jitsu product.

over all these were great. my kid was really happy. they don't seem as stretchy as other ones we have had, but my child is happy so I am happy. they looked good in person. They don't feel like they will pop and seem well made.
