Oddly, we had a baby wild rabbit turn up in our garden. We’re quite a distance to the local park so unsure how the rabbit turned up in our garden but with a one year old gun dog Labrador in and out the garden the mix wasn’t something we were willing to experiment with. The item arrived promptly and was easy to set up, after a few locations being tried we worked out where the rabbit was coming from and set the trap. All very easy and the rabbit caught and released at the local park where we knew there were other rabbits. There were cheaper alternatives but this did the trick.

My only problem is that it's far too sensitive and goes off over nothing and this makes it difficult to set

Only complaint is that it's a bit on the small side for catching cats etc

I ordered this humane trap as we were pestered with feral tom cat that had set up home on our property. He was attacking our 2 female cats and generally causing trouble.On arrival I wasn’t sure if it was up to the job but I needn’t have worried. It was well worth the money as after being baited and placed accordingly “Bingo” success within the first 12 hours. The cat in question has been successfully relocated and life has returned to normal. I therefore highly recommend this humane trap.

First thing:- it can only trap comfortably a small cat, or its tail will get caught in the trap door, so it's dangerous for a normal or big domestic cat.Second thing:- IMPOSSIBLE INSTRUCTIONS, video too glib. What is meant by "bush" and other vague terms? Opening the gate is difficult.Third thing, it's not fit for purpose as the setting hook is too flimsy to work.In the real garden situation the setting hook lasts 1 second before the gate snaps shut. I can't be out all night trying to adjust it to set. It only works on the steady kitchen table.Fourthly, 2 safety-protected people would be required to release an angry animal - because one would need to hold the cage still while the other grappled with the difficult gate. Too bad.I have to return it.

I was very sceptical that the trap would work. I was also wary of reports that the trap set off without anything touching it.I have had the trap for 3 days and have caught 3 squirrels. This trap is worth every penny.My bait was monkeys nuts dipped in peanut butter

We bought this to humanely catch a rat that has been living above our kitchen for the last few years. We bought the "Medium" size trap as my daughter didn't want the rats tail to get caught when the trap door shut if we bought a small one. We put the trap out for the first time last night and it worked perfectly! I say perfectly... We came down in the morning to discover we had caught a FOX!!! A whole bloody FOX!! (With tail in tact!). He / She was clearly not happy about being stuck in the trap all night but once I opened the door Mr or Mrs Fox waited till I stepped away and then came out and scuttled off. Not quite what we were hoping to catch but I'm very pleased that it was humane enough that the fox gets to live another day and was not harmed (physically) in any way...
