Nothing is as good as a massage by a human, but this works better than most. Would be better if it had a better range of intensity settings. Heat setting barely warm.

Neck pain, headache

This massager does feel good and kneads in a nice shiatsu style that reverses with a button. It also seems to auto-reverse every few minutes. It does have a heat button that warms up nicely. And it also has a speed button that changes between 3 speeds. Personally, I think it could use two faster speeds as the fastest speed is the most effective on this. The “arms” on the massager are fabrics with some decent structure and wires behind the buttons.There are 2 things I would change on this. The buttons are a little high on the side of the “arm”, so you have to twist, take it off, or memorize the buttons to make changing them during use effective. I would also make the massaging part stronger. With any decent amount of pressure, it starts to click as the motor is trying to turn. So, it works great on my neck where I need almost no pressure. On my back, its less than ideal as it starts to click with anything approaching deep tissue.
