Country Daydreams: Hand drawn designs to colour in

UPDATE: I reordered a replacement since my original was printed wrong. The replacement came printed wrong too. Since I had to go to the trouble to order a replacement, it would be nice if Amazon could inspect the book and make sure it's actually correct before shipping. Now I have to return a second copy! Wonderful illustrator with great coloring books, but terrible printing/quality check issues on Amazon's part.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Though the cover on this book is right, the content inside is NOT. The first title page in the book says "Town Daydreams" and all of the images inside are from the Town Daydreams book in this series. I also ordered Town Daydreams, so I was able to compare the two and verify that this book is printed wrong and is identical to that one. Town Daydreams is absolutely adorable with just the right of detail that isn't too daunting. I expect nothing less of Country Daydreams, but can't verify that yet. I will be returning it for a replacement printing - hopefully it's right the second time! Will update this review when the replacement arrives.

I just got this book and the issues other people mentioned seem to be resolved, as the contents of my book match the title. It's a small book, 6 by 9. The drawings are on one side only, the paper is thicker than regular paper, and there are 31 drawings. You could put a protective sheet in between and use markers and gel pens, I may even try putting clear gesso on a page and using acrylic paint. I like the artist's style, the drawings are so cute and they have detail but not an overwhelming amount. I probably will pick up the other books eventually.

Issalyn is correct! The book cover is correct, the entire contents of the book is the "Town Daydreams" book contents. I ordered the "Town Daydreams" book together with this book, they arrived the same day. When first inspecting the "Country Daydreams" book, I had to do a double-take when I saw that it contained the "Town Daydreams" book contents. I was so disappointed too, as the "Country Daydreams" book is the one that I was really looking forward to. Ugh! Definitely a publishing run error. .At this juncture, I don't know whether to take a chance and reorder or wait awhile.

I am very happy to discover this artist book . Recently found out this Country Daydreams book is one of four in a series ! Saw flip through of all four on YouTube . The others now waiting in my cart . Smaller size book too great for traveling, just tops in bag 🌼🌺🌸🏵️

I took a chance on ordering this since the reviews had been so bad. However, the site said it was a new edition. I have so enjoyed coloring in it. The paper isn't great and maybe the name should be Country Houses. The wide variety of designs is wonderful, everything from fantasy animal "houses" to American Indian teepees. I watched the previews by the artist on Youtube and plan to order Town Daydreams, knowing it will be houses in towns.

Gostei bastante. Livro pequeno, porém de qualidade, com desenhos bem diversificados e bem elaborados. Bom para viagens.

petit format attractif mais qualité du papier assez décevante et les illustrations sont relativement enfantines/naives..et surtour beaucoup trop d'ombres. Article renvoyé - A réserver en prio pour enfants/jeunes ado qui débutent en coloriage.

!! Attention !! Il existe une mauvaise version de ce livre, cela fait deux fois de suite que je le commande et que je reçois le livre avec la bonne couverture mais à l'intérieur du livre ce sont les dessins du livre "Town Daydreams" et non "Country Daydreams", voir photos ...

Identical to Town daydreams, had to contact amazon for replacement. update had replacement still printed the same as town daydreams
