10/10
By far my favorite out of the 5! Bones story was unbelievably good! TBH I really thought he was going to end up with jasmine and was kinda disappointed when I realized it wasnāt going to be her but turns out I love Mia and him together.

Loved!
When I started the Dark Kingdom series, Bones was who I was most curious about. I loved his story with Mia, I did anticipate it to be a little more spicy. It felt like it was more fade to black in a way but I still thoroughly enjoyed the book!

Bones and Mia
I knew from the start of the series that Bones was gonna be my favorite! Mia is perfect for him. A woman untouched by anyone, but him. Itās what his possessive mind needed. Mia was strong, and definitely a worthy mafia princess. Their chemistry is hot from the beginning. Mia has been discarded by everyone she has ever known. Bones showed her that he will respect her and her worth. She has backbone, and she refuses to be walked on. Bones went through a lot of emotions in this book. You finally got to see inside of his head. He loves his brother and the kings fiercely. His and Lucaās friendship took a hit in this one. Luca made some poor choices when it came to Mia, and a little of them couldnāt be helped, but he made her feel like she was a forgotten object to protect. Bones is willing to give up everything and everyone to keep his queen safe and loved. I love that we got a little moment to see Nite and Jasmine interact! I need their book! There is not way they donāt end up together 𤩠This was a great book, and my favorite couple so far!

Oh, Bones!
Oh, Bones! What an end (for now?) to this series. I really hope that Shantel does write more of them, I still want Nite's story... and there was supposed to be a trilogy for the Mason brothers, too.I was so excited for Bones's story. He did not disappoint! I really loved how he found his Queen in Mia, Luca's sister, who we had met before and was kept hidden. All of the Kings (and Queens) are well-developed characters that we see in all of the books in The Dark Kingdom, so we get to know all of them over time. However, in each book, we learn more about the one being featured. Bones had his heart closed off for so long, and it was just so satisfying to see when he finally opened up and found love. <3

I SCREAMED when I saw it was Mia instead of Jasmine! I thought it was Jasmine and Bones!! The book starts off with you on your toes! Ole Mr. Tough guy didnāt think heād fall in love, saying heās not one for love..pfff jokes on him. It did get a little slow for me but soon picked up. As always Tessier has done it again! I love this one!

Mia & Dillian
Wow! I loved Mia! Her POV made me tear up several times. This poor girl who no one ever notices, everyone treats like an inconvenience and a burden just wants to be needed, wanted, seen and LOVED. And Mr. Bones, Dillian who will NEVER settle downā¦totally falls for Mia. I love how his inner monologue is all about how much of a pain Mia is while his actions and words are all about protecting her and doing what needs to be done in order to keep her safe. Mia may of felt weak but she was a baddy towards the end there! š¤š¤ I also love that she calls him by his real name and he cringes if she uses his nickname.

Disappointed :-(
Mia has to be the worst h I've ever read, if not the worst she's in the top 3.Mia screams at Dillon after he rescues her from sex trafficking. Not only does she scream at him she hits and kicks him, calls him names and glares at him constantly. Her behavior continues throughout the entire book even though Dillon takes care of her and is kind.Mia behaves foolishly and is abusive. She gets kidnapped again and after being rescued by Dillon she slaps him in his face!I'm guessing the author thought this is how a "strong" woman would act. However, Mia came across as an abusive moron.

The end for now?! š
I absolutely loved this series! Have to say it again Jaz is my fav and I wish she got her book too. Dont get me wrong I loved each different characters through out the series but Jasmine is the life of these stories. Bones was not my favorite at all but still Im happy I pushed through and read it all. A little spoiler-ish ...I don't get how the Lords series fit with this one except for what we saw so far in Carnage but also I don't get why everyone is raving about Jasmine and Kash š¤·āāļø unless Kash is Big Daddy D???? š¤š Anyways Im really looking forward to more for sure.. This book can't be the end right?!Must read seriesEnjoy š

Tantalising
Bones lives up to his BDE! And sweet little innocent Mia falls at his feet.Miaās Mafia family have kept her locked away and a secret from the world. Sheās been brought up in isolation and loneliness. Her family tells her that because sheās a woman is holds no important or value, so spread your legs and earn your keep. And when her only brother that loves teaches out to Bones to rescue her we go on a wild ride of family betrayal. As to be expected Bones is the man in charge and proves his devotion by rescuing Mia, several times.Mia acts out against her family and you have to wonder if her actions are going to cause a mafia war?We do get our HEA, but Shantelās Kingdom always has room for more.It was a really well paced read. Always enjoy Shantelās story telling. Itās comforting to come back to an established series.

Winner Winner
WOW I was not expecting Bones to be the way he is in this novel. He is soft for his woman and his woman only, huge green flag. He shows that he cares in different ways than others we just had to learn his love language. I think next to Grave this was my favorite book!
