I got this book and could not put it down it is a very good book to have.

I do not usually leave reviews but wanted to leave some feedback for anyone (like me) that is looking to install a residential HVAC system in their house but wanted some guidance ahead of arranging the work.This book is generic in the extreme, I read the first 30 pages and it hadn’t provided anything more than explain what HVAC, which anyone that is actively purchasing a book on HVAC would already know. There is no true technical detail above base generic info, no drawings or schematics to explain system.The title of bible is very misleading, you would do better to read a couple of articles on the internet than read this book.

I got this book solely for the sections on energy efficiency and troubleshooting. THis is a good portion of the book and I am very happy with the book overall since I read it from cover to cover. The book introduces what HVAC is, its history, and how the systems are desgined. THen we get into the different options of systems you can go with. The section on energy efficiency touches on advancements that have been made in the industry and how renewable energy may fit into your picture. I found this section, in particular, educational and well written. The later sections look at troubleshooting things that can go wrong and they teach you how to fix it.

This book is an excellent guide for heating, ventilation and air conditioning work in the home. there are several photos, secrets and even a guide that helps you avoid making mistakes, thus saving a lot of money. very useful.

This is a year round guideline for maintains, repairing and installing HVAC systems. There are weather symbols that are color-coded on each page which I found to be handy. The writing is in easy-to-understand terms not highly technical. This book is for both learning how to and using as a reference.

A book that explains the exact functioning of ventilation, heating and air conditioning systems. With this book we will be able to carry out the installation, maintenance and repairs of the various ventilation, heating and air conditioning systems. Not only that, we will also be able to reduce energy expenditure by learning how to optimize our HVAC systems.A good book of great use.

I don't recommend this book for beginners. No visuals and schematic on troubleshooting. I don't even think its a bible for HVAC. I want my money back.
