Impressed After Just 2 Weeks – Noticeable Skin and Nail Improvements!
I’ve been using the Sunwarrior Collagen Peptides Building Powder for just over 2 weeks now, and I must say, I'm genuinely amazed by how quickly I've started to notice some subtle yet significant changes. As someone who follows a predominantly plant-based diet, I’ve always been on the lookout for a vegan-friendly alternative to traditional collagen. This product truly meets that need, facilitating the body’s natural collagen production rather than relying on animal-derived sources. The ingredient list is refreshingly clean, boasting a blend of plant-based proteins, vitamin C sourced from organic amla (which is crucial for collagen synthesis), silica derived from bamboo, biotin, and hyaluronic acid for enhanced hydration. It’s comforting to know that I’m nourishing my body with the essential nutrients it requires to support collagen production in a holistic way. After two weeks of consistent use, here’s what I've experienced:- **Skin:** My skin feels noticeably more hydrated and plump, particularly in those areas that often become dry, like around my eyes and cheeks. While the changes aren't dramatic, there’s an unmistakable sense that something beneficial is unfolding beneath the surface.- **Nails:** This has been the most surprising benefit! My nails, which typically tend to peel and break with the slightest pressure, have begun to feel significantly stronger and are growing at a faster rate than usual. It’s a local change I didn’t even anticipate.- **Energy & Digestion:** I wasn’t expecting to notice improvements in my energy levels, but I do feel a boost. My digestion has been consistently steady, which I attribute to the added protein and array of nutrients this powder provides. In terms of taste and mixability, I opted for the [unflavored or flavored] version and incorporate it into my morning smoothies or coffee. It dissolves seamlessly, leaving no gritty texture or unpleasant aftertaste, which is a major plus. If you’re particularly sensitive to flavors, blending it into a smoothie would be ideal; however, even mixed with plain water or almond milk, it maintains a pleasantly neutral taste.I’m genuinely excited to see how my results evolve after a month or more of regular use. So far, with just two weeks under my belt, I would wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone seeking a clean and effective plant-based collagen builder! This is just so easy to use. I just throw it into a smoothie with filtered water or bottled water and my favorite fruit or greens and a little ice and it’s the best easy to use.And for those of you wondering it’s prop 65 safe.As always ask your doctor first, but I have hashi’s and take it without a problem for a year now.

Tastes great, I have in morning smoothie
Had been drinking this off and on but now am quite into having in a daily smoothie the past month. My nails are definitely much stronger, growing out. (They can otherwise be very thin/flexible at ends.) I hope it will also make them or nail beds smoother, we’ll see. Am also hoping this will help with hair. I’ve always had “fine hair but a lot of it” which I only came to appreciate past year when my ponytail and volume started thinning. If it helps I may update this.I’m surprised at some reviews mentioning a bad taste. I think it’s great. Nothing noticeably bad. I get the unflavored and put in smoothie with banana, almond milk, yogurt, berries, honey. I don’t feel like I’m trying to “cover up” or mask a bad taste. And I’m *very* sensitive taste-wise to stevia or sugar substitutes. (Except I loved the monkfruit in red bag but stopped using because of concerns about an additive and have found no alternative). Point is I am quick to pick up any aftertaste and don’t find one in the unflavored, and I don’t think it contains stevia or similar.Only 1 scoop has 18 grams of protein. I was thinking of getting additional “green” powder but glad I reread ingredients as this already has spirulina, kale etc.

Taste
Its good but I taste the Splenda. 😕 I have to get the unflavored next time. if you’re sensitive to blend out or don’t like the taste of it, don’t buy flavored.

Tastes horrible. Really bad.
First let me say I bought the unflavored. I tried it hot in my coffee. It is in no way unflavored. Tastes terrible and smells a bit like ass. I said what I said. This stuff was undrinkable. I poured it out.So my next attempt was in my iced coffee shake concoction I drink every day. This contains Starbucks concentrate, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 scoop of keto chocolate meal shake, and a fiber packet. This is the same drink I have my vital proteins in and originally I had intended to swap that out for this stuff. This was a non starter in that also.It just is not unflavored as they claim. It also has a thicker texture which reminds me of sawdust in a way.I may try blending with some miso and seeing if I can choke some down. If not. I am all the way out. Oh and also, they have an enormous scoop in there. Surely to God no one is able to choke down a whole scoop.I will update after the Miso.

Delicious taste and great benefits
The coconut matcha and churro are delicious so I will try other flavors. I blend with frozen fruit, a banana, and unsweetened almond milk for a delicious, filling smoothie every AM. Also- I swear my skin is so much better! Feels firmer and more supple. I have had multiple people comment “whatever you’re doing, you look great!”Update 11/24: I have tried all of the other flavors and Salted Caramel and Coconut Matcha are my favorites. The SC is definitely sweeter but hey, I’ve also made a quick smoothie for a snack when I was craving a dessert and it killed my sweet craving, so I’d say that’s better than a cupcake any day! Overall, this product is still amazing and is my go-to breakfast smoothie every day. I continue to get positive comments on my skin and I just feel great overall. I recommend this to people all the time. So glad I discovered Sun Warrior!

Yummiest version I ever had!
I love this one! A smaller portion mixes nicely in my yogurt. But I need to really boost my protein and calories early in the day. So I LOVE a bigger scoop added to any kind of milk, along with a spoon of peanut butter and it becomes thick like yogurt. Add a few dashes of cocoa, cinnamon, dried fruit and granola and get a similar taste and feel like eating cookie dough for breakfast! In the warm season I blend into cold coffee as a smoothie with frozen milk cubes - maybe fruit! Then also eat a granola bar is on the side.

Sustainability
I love the product but you always include a plastic cup. That's dumb - let people do their own measuring and cut waste!
