I’ve never really thought about the quality of meat hammers before –I’ve been using a small old one I have for as long as I can remember – but this one blows my old one out of the water. It’s big and decently heavy, but quite well balanced, which keeps it easy to swing but still allows me to put significant force behind my blows. The ridges on the handle are also quite nice for improving my grip on the thing. It’s also very easy to hand-wash, which is a big plus.I have used it to make pork chops, and they came out excellent! If you’re looking for a good meat hammer, I would definitely recommend this one.

This meat tenderizer is amazing. It's heavy and sturdy. It tenderizes and reduces the time to make tougher cuts of meat in minimum time. A few whacks and the meat goes in the crock pot for a delicious and tender roast.

This is a well built hammer. The weight balance is really effective and does most of the work for you. It also seems to splatter less than lighter hammers that i have to use more force with.It feels like good steel so far and doesn't appear to have any of that flakey imitation coating they use on the cheap meat tenderizers. It's well polished and rinses clean easily with hot water from my electric kettle.

It's a mallet, and you hit meat with it! It's very sturdy, and easy to clean. It has a good weight to it, and works great at this one job. Enough said!

This mallet is very heavy and doesn't appear to be hollow like others. It works well and I am currently happy with my purchase.

Replaced a mallet that was too small, too light, and made of zinc or pot metal. I like the weight, size, and stainless steel. So far I've only used to flatten chicken breasts, worked fine.

It was easy to use and hold and took great care of the meat I had to make thin. Hand washed it with no problems as well. Can't wait to use it again on the next round of dinner.

Made short work of all cutlets and steaks used on so far. Solid. Good weight. Well worth the price considering it should outlive you.Recommend for sure.

The hammer weight 600 grams/1.323 lb. It feels solid you can tender the meat with minimum effort. It's true stainless steel, so it is dishwasher safe comparing to aluminium or zinc alloy cast ones. Highly recommended.

I'm using mine specifically for beating bags of ice up in the bar freezer. Works great, looks great.
