I was advised to take these to ward off mosquitos in an Asian country. I found it wards off people more but, less breath smell compared to other brands, that’s for sure.

I've always liked to take garlic supplements but they can be embarrassing. Once I took some "odour free" garlic from a different brand, and a friend took me to one side and, barely able to look at me but saying that he knew I was an old friend and did I mind if he said something - advised me that my breath smelt overwhelmingly of garlic!I was horrified as I really hadn't noticed myself and I guess I'd got so used to it - I'd been taking it for months too, so heaven knows how many people I had been unwittingly yapping on to, completely oblivious to the rank odour my witterings were subjecting them to. No wonder I never had any trouble getting a seat to myself on the bus!Naturally I stopped taking those supplements but I do need to watch my cholesterol and as I get older I am more aware of the importance of health, so I decided to try these. They smell pretty garlicky so I was worried, but having tried them for a week I can honestly say there's no odour - I've checked with the same friend! - and I've not any unpleasant aftertaste or noticed any garlicky "burps".The tablets are coated and so very easy to take, they never get "stuck" in my throat, and they're a good price, made in the UK and have added Vitamin B1 to assist in their heart health function, so I am very happy with them and will stick to them in future.The only downside is people now seem happy to sit next to me on the bus, but you can't have it all!
