I wish it blew hot steam when I put hot water but it comes out cold

The “Steamy Cat Brush” is not “Steam” but “Mist”. If it were me, I would have named this a “Misty Cat Brush”. The rubber brush is appealing to my cats, and the curved handle is comfortable to hold – if a bit large.The “steamer” function appears to be the same apparatus in small humidifiers/oil diffusers. It emits a mist – but even if you use hot water when filling it, the mist is not even warm. Plus, both of my kitties immediately took offense to the hissing sound. It’s not at all loud, just a quiet hiss. But they want no part of it. For the 20 seconds I could hold kitty still, it made his back rather wet.I think this will be relegated to just a rubber kitty brush. Maybe I will stand it on a cup and let it humidify my room after brushing kitty LOL.

Sure, it steams a little mist… but does not brush my cat’s hair well. The silicone doesn’t glide through her fur. So in the end her fur gets a little wet but not brushed... Plus it leaks the unused water when you leave it sitting. Not a great product.

Works great. And removed so much hair from my cat. I hope with repeated use it will help cut down on his hairballs

This works about half the time and if your cat is oily and needs an actual bath this won't help it a whole lot, I perfer a rubber curry comb over this. There isn't steam by the way, it's a mist
