ZISIZ Hydroponics Growing System：Indoor Garden Kit,(SPD2023)

It has all you need to start a hydroponic garden. You just need to buy seeds. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. The construction is good, plastic and aluminium. It includes plant fertilizer, and sponges (which can also be bought when you run out). All you need to do is buy some seeds of the plants you want to grow and add some water and fertilizer, and you are good to go. I could see already that after 3 days the seeds are germinating. The system has a pump that runs for 30 minutes every hour, strong LED lights that automatically turn on for 16 hours and off for 8 hours, and magnifying lens' covers to help concentrate light when you start germinating new seeds. It has a setting to pick a programme for herbs or flowers, and the pump program can be also turned on/off. Overall, it is an excellent product.

This growing light is working, I see new leaves growing. Last winteris the first year I’m at current house, half of my plants died in the winter as there was no sunlight in the house (I had to moved the plants outdoor during the summer). Some of the plants I had in many years, so I’m sure the issue was the sunlight. This winter I bought a growing light bulb, and it was not enough for all my plants, so I got this for the smaller pots. I had it for about three weeks now, some plants start growing out new leaves 😍 this is working.

The media could not be loaded. I added an aquarium pump to this because I couldn’t get the pump to work at all. The lights are definitely iffy…they might work, they might not. Unless you are dead set on throwing away $40 & investing more buy something else. Since I had already put heirloom disease resistant tomato seeds I had special ordered & waited forever for in the pods I feel like I was already in too deep.

Finally set it up last night, the product itself is great, the instruction/user manual though can do better. The instruction was very brief, and if you are a newbie to the hydroponic world like me, that was certainly not enough, you will need to watch some youtube video for better demonstration. The good thing it has was the black lids and transparent lids for the holes (even the water hole), so that water evaporate less. It came with plant A/B food, the bottles have instruction on them, so not too difficult to use. Pretty bright so I put it in the basement — planted some old seeds, we’ll see if they are still alive lol

I purchased one for myself and one for my elderly mother across the country who can no longer ambulate well to garden outside. Both of us have had success with the units. She was thrilled to have lettuce pop up in just 3 or 4 days. I saw a great deal on it again and even though I have several units of various brands, I decided to buy another. Dead on arrival. After trying options, the unit itself is functional but the adapter/plug is non-functional. It will have to be returned. Note in the photo - lavender! I have been trying for months grow lavender from seed via various methods (notoriously hard) and lo and behold, one day I realized what had popped up! Success! 3/5 stars because 2/3 work and I have very little time to handle a return.

Loved the set up and planting process, but definitely could have used more directions as far as germinating and how/when to use the light settings. Otherwise it’s well made and the lights are nice and bright.

I love this, received as a gift. Planted tomatoes and there are at least 30 cherry tomatoes on just one plant. It’s so fun to watch. I’ve purchased several now as gifts. I made the mistake of growing 3 tomato plants in a 12 hole unit. Although they are thriving, I think they are crowded a bit. One actually layed over (didn’t fall out, just layed over). I tied it up using string and the light pole. Works just fine. I have 2 of them now. I love that I can see the water level through the base tank. Really helpful. 10+ stars.

I was very happy with this at first. After a few months the support pole for the light no longer stays up so I've had to place a peice of wood under to stabilize it.
