Difficult to use once cut
These lights are about what you expect for the price. If you plan to use the whole strip and add additional adhesive they'd work great in a low impact situation. However, when I went to cut the lights (as you can at the cut line every 3" inches) you have to remove the waterproofing to solder on new connections. Unfortunately the waterproof makes up most of the structure of the lights and once you remove it the contacts basically tear off making the strip unuseable. You may be able to cut them if you plan to mount them and then solder after but your still relying on the tape backing to hold your strip together. Not something I trust bouncing around off road.

Great led strips!
Great lights! I had never ordered led strip lights but I searched until I found these. They are waterproof (they also sell a version that isn’t waterproof so make sure you order the correct ones). The covering is thick and leds are encased well. When soldering strips together I used a razor blade to peel the covering back. They are very bright. I am using the blue and white ones I also ordered for the inside of our boat. White in the engine and storage compartments, blue for floor lighting. You won’t be disappointed with these and the price is great! I’ll come back and post with pictures after the installation is complete.The pictures inside the boat are after the installation. Working great! No more flashlight at night!

50/50 Chance on getting working lights
I purchased 2 strips of these lights for my boat. Been concerned about all the horror stories I've read about them being broke, smashed or just not working. Well, one of the rolls have been crushed to a degree. However, the part I do NOT like. They have been spliced together to make a 15' strip. Not happy with the lights at all! But gonna try and use them anyway. These were a tad bit more money. Figured I would get better quality. I guessed wrong!

Beware of repair joints and the double sided tape sucks !
Ordered 2 of these, one worked great the other one they put a solder joint in it and it broke after being installed on our boat and one underway over night, so I ordered another in the hope of it working....plus the tape sucks save yourself some time and buy your own tape.....

Crap
What a worthless set of lights. There is no tape on my set anyway. Didn’t realize this until I started puttting on my motorcycle, and number one, the electrodes for the lights are on the bottom and exposed so they started shorting out against the frame, and they absolutely will not stick to anything. Looks like there is because there is the 3m protectant stuff on it but no tape.

Inexpensive
The two side tape not great. They include an extra roll of what I believe is extra tape but I could not peel backing paper off. Installed for 2 weeks and now I have a section that won’t light up. Do I peel them off and return or just buy another roll???
