Black Aluminum Rock Sliders for 2007-2018 Wrangler JK 2 Door (Running Boards|Nerf Bars|Side Armor)

Ok, so maybe you think, just another bad review and it couldn't happen to me? Please do not purchase anything from this company. Their claim is great customer service, absolutely not. These running boards do not fit the Jeep well as the front bracket will sit just under the body of the Jeep and when you travel down the road, the body of your Jeep will thump and grind into the bracket. HD Ridez sent me another design of running board (which was appropriate for them to do) which looks like the original ones, but has different brackets. One of the new brackets has been welded crooked and I have yet to hear back from HD Ridez for another replacement. I've requested they or the manufacturer to provide me compensation of $75 for the damages to my Jeep where the brackets hit the body and they have repeatedly denied my request. They claim I'm outside the 60 day refund, but I'm in the 1 year warranty (I did not install the product right away). I've even spoken to the manufacturer APS several times to resolve this issue and they will not compensate me either. Basically they both admit the product is defective, but will not pay for damages from the defective product. Please tell me what that has to do with 60 days as I'm within the 1 year warranty and they've replaced the product? That's like having a severely leaky faucet under warranty while your not home, you get extensive water damage in your home and the faucet company only gives you a new faucet and does nothing about the water damages? I thought I was extremely reasonable at $75 as a body shop estimate would be much higher. If I was them and I owned a company, how much is $75 worth to keep a customer happy and not have a negative review against me? Some people just don't think.

I ordered these for a step for the back seat, and for basic protection for the rocker panels. When I looked at the instructions and the mounting hardware I knew basic protection was all I'd get. Mounting to the body mounts and not to the fram, as well as the the clamp type mounts for the setps themselves I would not put stock in their offroad capabilities. For looks, and a step up I'd recommend them, just beware of what you buy and for what.

They look great however rear mount did not fit, Seller would not respond to inquiry and I had take them to machine shop for a $40.00 modification to install. Good product, poor service. Hope they hold up.

This is a great product, love the design, very well engineered. They are fully adjustable, so there is no rattle from the frame. Very stylish would highly recommend this product.
