Im a licensed cosmetologist for 15 years and makeup enthusiast to say the least. I have been looking for a blood red lipstick for a long time. This one looked to be the closest I have seen to the color I was wanting. With the name "bloody mary" and the price at $17.00 i thought, for sure, this was the one!I get it in the mail and its just a regular lipstick like any other lipstick. Not sure why it is so expensive. It didn't even have a fancy case or anything.. honestly it looks identical to lipsticks I've seen from China. Its very dry and kinda hard to spread on your lips... the 24hour color stay from Walmart is better and cheaper than this. I was truly wanting a high quality lipstick, not this. The color is okay but not rich enough nor does it look like blood... disappointing...It bleeds a bit too... so you kinda look like you drank kool-aid before putting it on...

I don't apply this lipstick the way most people do. I line my lips, then dab the lipstick on my lips to create a STAIN look, then even out any areas that I dabbed too little or too much with a Q-Tip, then I blot my lips with a piece of toilet paper. I like that the stain look lasts quite long. Even though the stain will rub off on my finger if I touch my lips, the Stain look stays on my lips. I have the Black and the Grey and am happy with my purchase. I really like that these lipsticks last and give me the desires STAIN. It looks like I have grey/black lips It does not look like I am wearing lipstick. Beautiful days.

I was hoping because this was professional that it wouldn't get all over my teeth however I was very wrong and this is very easy to smudge around on the face. I cannot tell you how many times people are say ummm your teeth are black too 😂

We got this lipstick to wear to a St. Patrick's Day parade and after applying our makeup and the lipstick we added the Glitter Lip Gloss ad it was the perfect pair. But we forgot to bring the lipstick and gloss to apply before the parade. We had to drive a couple of hours to get to the parade. This lipstick added a little more fun to a great day. The lipstick was easy to apply and with the lip gloss, it stayed on a little while. We will be ready for next years parade.

This was a bit of a waxy mess. For as much as I paid, I expected something better than 99 cent drug store quality application. Coverage is thick at the outer edges of lips and non-existent at the wetter inner side, even with blotting and priming.

This lipstick is, oh my gods AMAZING~ Stays around for super long, hardly comes off.Actually, getting it off was a bit of a challenge if I'm being honest, but that isn't a bad thing~Would definitely recommend for any sort of costume, or if you're like me, and you like being the office Goth girl~15/10- Best black lipstick I've used~
