Mxl Industries Fog Free Flip Shield

Worked great! Just took a 3200+ mile cross country trip and this worked very well in general. The only time it didn't help much was when caught in a driving rain. The rain was coming down so hard that it got between the visor and the shield and was on the inside of the shield. In that instance it didn't perform very well. However, in a light rain or mist, it worked great & didn't fog up. As protection from the wind, it worked great. Also, the ease of flipping it up and having it lock back down into place and STAY PUT was great. All in all, I would recommend this.

I wear glasses. I have tried everything I could think of to make riing my bike with some comfort. Over the glasses sun goggles, shorty face shield, and even check into the riding glasses with the foam rubber around the lens... The Riding glasses were just to much money, and the rest didn't work all that well. I had discomfort all of the time. When I saw this unit I decided to try it. From the first day I was so HAPPY, no Discomfort at all, riding as fast as 70MPH no discomfort. My Bike is a URAL and my top speed recommended is 65MPH, I can't go faster and so far I have been so HAPPY with this face shield. No More Pain, and much happiness. I recommended these to all of those glasses wearers that have the pain from the wind in the eyes. Try em, You will LOVE EM...

I like my "patrol" style shorty half-helmet with short face shield with my bike which has a windshield. Lets me wear my regular eyeglasses.But when I borrow a bike with no windshield, the half face shield is not enough, wind comes right under into my eyes. This is the second MXL shield I have bought now, I liked the clear one so much I got a tinted one as well.It's not perfect, it touches my chin when fully closed, but for what I wanted it to do it's great. Sturdy construction, stays put where you set the flip.I really should have a full-face helmet as well for those times, but to make do, this gets the job done very well.

I purchased this item to clip to my 3/4 helmet in the event of rain on a 1600 mile cycling trip. of course it rained often and when I installed the shield I was disappointed in that the water splashed up into the inside of the shield making it impossible to see through and it also immediately fogged up. Tthe three times I attempted to use it in rain I was forced to raise/remove the shield because I could not see well enough to drive and will take the rain to the face or wear a full-face rather than lose 85-90% of my visibility and still be wet.On a positive note and only reason it did not get a single star, it does secure well to the helmet and if you are only looking for an item to deflect bugs and debris it would work fine...but is more than useless (unsafe) in the rain!!

Was not able to purchase this visor at my dealer. Turned to Amazon and found it there. Good quality andit actually works!

I use this on a helmet I wear when snowblowing. I have a blower that goes on the front of an ATV. It really throws snow, but the snow is hard to see on a sunny day. This shield has a little tint to it and greatly improves my vision. Good product.

Good quality for the price. Not as distorted as some I've tried. Visor is nice and deep for extra shading. Lots of space to wear glasses behind which is why I bought it.

A little disspointed in the quality, even looks cheap on the plastic parts where it connects to your helmet. But you get what you pay for, and this was so cheap but it gets the job done. Flips up and down too easily.
