The tongs are made of very attractive wood, seem very sturdy. Can be used to remove toast from toaster or toaster oven. And if you have a toaster oven they can be used to slide toaster grates in and out. No more burned fingers.

I had the same wooden tongs for about 20 years. These work great and I really appreciate the magnet. It makes it easy to store the tongs on the side of the toaster oven.

Great toaster tongs! Pretty and long enough and ends are tapered enough to get bagels out of the toaster! These will never snap apart because they are one piece!

These are nicely made tongs. With gentle use, they should last a long time. I hand wash them. The width between each side of the tongs is not wide enough though. They slide over regular thin bread, but are too close together for thick cut bread, such as the typical width of a baguette slice, homemade hearty toast for eating with soups, and cheese toast. I have to pull the arms of the tongs apart to slide them down over the toast before extracting the slice from the toaster, or they will just push the toast back down into the toaster. Since the tongs are easily pressed together into a thinner width, it would have been a better approach to make the default distance between the tongs wider. Anyone can easily press them closer together to extract thinner toast. A magnet is included on the fulcrum of the tongs, which should be convenient for keeping the tongs with the toaster. However, the magnet has to be nearer the handle end vs. the open tong end. Consequently, if you want the tongs to hold to the side of the toaster via the magnet, the open ends of the tongs that touch the toast always fall down in contact with the counter. I dislike having them in contact with the counter, no matter how clean my counter may be. The point of the magnet should be to suspend the tongs above the counter. Perhaps they designed it, assuming that one would place the tongs on top of the toaster along the metal strip between the two bread slots. However, for cleanliness sake, I always place a toaster cover over the unit when not in use. It doesn't fit right if the tongs are under it, and the magnet is so weak that it won't hold through the fabric if I place it on top of the cover. I would like to respectfully ask the manufacturer to reconsider the strength and placement of the magnet, as well as the default distance between the tongs in their resting state.

I’ve had these for 6 months now. They’re great. Sturdy, ease to use, easy to clean. The ends are chiseled slightly so that it’s easier to grab toast or bagels without obstruction.I had a quick look at a similar wooden grabber in Ikea, and it was thicker, not chiseled and definitely less flexible and harder to use. I’m glad I got this one.The magnet in the handle is a bonus — keeps it stuck to the inside of our cutlery drawer.Handy and recommended.

We have enjoyed our toaster tongs since they arrived. They are well made, easy to use, and look pretty as well. We chose these tongs because the magnet allows us to hang the tongs on the side of our fridge, which is right next to the toaster. It keeps the tongs handy, yet out of the way. The kids love that they don't burn their finger anymore, and I love that they get put away every time!

This is a great product for your toaster that allows you to remove toasted items without burning your fingers! The magnet keeps it handy, stick it right to the toaster.

About the only item you can grab with these tongs is a slice of precut bread/toast...forget anything thicker. They looked high quality from the photo and cost more than others, but what arrived were not carefully made...minor flaws and wood stains marred the overall quality. A definate regroup and order of a more functional tong for hand cut toast and anything going into/out of a hard to approach toaster oven...

I love the practicality of wood, nicely made and appreciate that the end tips are tapered. The magnet isn’t important for us as I feel it potentially could scratch the surface with careless use.
