Perfect for rotating out kefir grains!
Purchased these to use for my milk kefir grains.The 1st to start my batch with fresh milk. 2nd to store my strained finish batch in. 3rd for when I need to wash the 1st, and start a new batch with my grains.I’d give it 5 stars, except it does not have anything to measure to on the sides. Non issue for me, but others may require it.Anyone debating on trying to make their own kefir, once you source the grains, all you need is wide mouth jars, preferably a nylon mesh strainer, and either cheesecloth, coffee liner filter or even a clean paper towel will do. You just add your milk and grains and put the breathable cover on top, holding in place with a rubber band. Usually ready in 12-24 sitting out at room temperature, once your grains are fully active again.
