I was not sure what I would get for the price. I was very pleased with the quality and it worked perfect for my strand of pearls.

It's a pretty clasp, and it suited my need for an inexpensive, ornate, and secure gold clasp for a bracelet I was making. I love that even if it comes unclipped, the hook part of the clasp will keep the thing from falling off. On the flip side, it's very thin, so it will need to be worn with care. It's also hard to clip with one hand (as you do with bracelets). Overall, it's nice for the price.

Fortunately the necklace would fit around head without opening. Too small to manipulate.
