I love this carrier. The structure of it is so sound. It’s not floppy at all (which I’ve hated with other carriers) and the expansion is perfect! I can expand the carrier while on a plane under the seat (I fly southwest) and it helped a lot for my talk 7lbs Chihuahua. I also love all the ways it opens. The different zippers are perfect for different occasions such as just reaching in to calm your pet or opening it up so they can stick their head out. The pet bed/liner that comes with it is so well made and soft and comfortable. I’ve used it for my dogs and cat and I can tell how comfy they are in there. Best carrier I’ve ever had and it’s folds up for nice storage when not in use

We bought this for a round trip flight with our cat from St Louis to NYC. It worked great and fit fine under the seats for our flights on Southwest Airlines.If sitting at a window seat, the long side can face forward. For the other two seats, the short side must face forward.We paid extra for the version that expanded on the side so that the cat would have a bit more comfort while waiting at the airports, etc.To get our cat used to the carrier, we took several local drives with our cat in it. She would meow from time to time in the car but we found that on the day of our flights she was totally quiet -- probably due to such a new environment.We feel that the container was quality made and definitely worth the price. Without it, we would have had to leave the cat at a cattery which we didn't want to do for this long trip.

I really liked this carrier, overall it was decent quality and I liked the pop up top to add more space. However, I ultimately returned it because it didn’t have seatbelt clips and the bottom wasn’t as strong/sturdy as my previous carrier.

I loved this carrier! I flew with my dog on a domestic United flight in business class - 757 - and had just enough room to use the full side expansion under the seat in the middle section (with the top pushed down and not expanded). My puppy is a little big for the bag without the expansion - and I found the carrier to be strong and supportive and easily carried it on top of a Away carry on (with some extra grip to make sure he stayed stable). I think the carrier's measurements are one inch wider than United recommends but I did not have any issues.

I ordered this for my dog for a cross country flight. It came in perfect condition and worked perfect with United airlines. Fit under the seat and my Pomeranian didn’t mind it, even though he had never been in a kennel before.

The media could not be loaded. At 8.5” high and 12” wide when not expanded, this carrier is one of the only ones that will fit certain EU airline pet carrier regulations (which are 8.3” high a.k.a. 21 cm high for Vueling or 12.5” wide a.k.a. 32 cm wide for TAP Portugal, etc.). Even while not expanded, there are four sides of ventilation (not just three as required by domestic flights), a requirement for international flights. Very sturdy structure that holds itself up without being leaned against anything. There is very little give in the frame so if the max pet carrier height allowance for your airline is over 8” or 20cm, this won’t work. In the photos, I replaced the bed it came with because my dog was trying to dig (it makes a crinkly noise due to the waterproof inner lining). The carrier opens on only 3 sides (the top, one lengthwise side, and one widthwise side) so that’s something to keep in mind. The side expansion is really sturdy so kind of hard to pull open, but I would rather that than flimsy structure. My dog appreciates that the top expansion has mesh on the sides to allow him to see his surroundings while he is sitting up. There are clip locks for all zippers, a definite plus.

Bought this for cross country flight on JetBlue comfort seating. My cat is 13lbs and she was comfy. I used the expandable sides under the seat and it fit just fine. Other passengers had same carrier and we exchanged exclamations on how great the carrier worked. The locked zippers are excellent as I forgot to clip at one point and the cat was able to peak her head out. Once the zipper was locked that was not an issue.
