I have not found a faux fur in this price range that does not shed. If you can, open outside and shake the shedded fur away. Saying that, it looks good and works for my inexpensive gnome project with kids. It has not had any additional shedding once my project was done. Also, cut along the backing, not through the fur itself to reduce shedding.

I guess I was just expecting something more. This is a very small piece of faux fur, and it sheds. Its about the size of two books side by side. It was cheaper to just go to a craft store or fabric section of Wal-Mart and have a yard cut of what I really wanted. I was able to use the piece in some pictures for Instagram

I used this fur for my Tessaiga sword, and had no problems. Sure it shed a bit, especially when cut (as to be expected with fur) but it is holding up well. I also sprayed it with modge pudge to hold it in place!

Product was simple enough to use for crafting and the final outcome looks good. The only problem was the initial shedding that took place (BE PREPARED). Also, the fur is quite thin so don't expect it to be used as padding.

Decent fur. Took a doggie brush to get rid of some loose hairs but after that no issue with fur everywhere. Needs synthetic dyes to change its color or three powder mixes of the normal stuff. But was easy to sew and use.

Used this to make the fur for an Eevee Cosplay. Worked great but once I cut it into shape, it fell apart and got everywhere! Thankfully my grandma suggested sewing the edges and it fixed the issue.

Holds up very nicely, doesn't shed too much. Used it to reline the trim of a hoodie. Only issue was the material the fur is attached to is fairly stiff and ridgid.

Was surprised at just how expensive faux fur is....Use it for crafts mostly, like these gnome wines for X-Mas gifts.
