Motion detection is on point. I keep it near the dresser so it only comes on when I'm on the way to the restroom or to the bed. The timing is perfect (about 10 seconds on). I love the different color changes as some are brighter than others and definitely can set a mood when wanted.Edit: I wanted to update that it's now April 2020 and it's still going strong. Comes on multiple times every night with motion and I haven't had to change the batteries yet.

Bought this for the bathroom so we could see at night when we get up to use the restroom. It’s bright, but it doesn’t wake my partner up. When you leave the restroom it stays on for about 10 seconds so you can see to get back into bed.

This worked for about 2 weeks. Cheap quality. It is unfortunate that I waited so long to try it. I could have sent it back. Checked batteries. That is not the problem. Just quit working.

I've had it for four months now. It works great! Exactly as promised. If I could change one thing I would have it plug in. Hint, if you're using it to get up at night, use the red setting and you can go back to sleep easier. I learned that at a medical conference.

I don’t have an outlet in my hallway so this was perfect for lighting a dark hallway at night
