A quality razor !!!!!!
A beautifully engineered and finished razor and a serious piece of kit. At 11.75cm long it is three quarters of a centimeter longer than the Weishi I’m currently using which comes in at 4.3” (11.0cm). It also has some serious weight to it at 4.97oz (140.89g) and is twice the weight of my Weishi which is 2.61oz (74g). Good, because I prefer a heavy razor and a long handle. The head of the razor is a better design than some traditional safety razors as it encloses the ends of the blades. In order to compare apples with apples I’ve initially paired this razor with the Gillette blades I usually use. The razor comes with a packet of x5 unmarked blades of unknown origin and I'll use these at a later date. This razor takes a bit of getting use to and a little caution to begin with although I can’t fault the shave it gives, but if you get it wrong it has a serious bite to it. I’ve persevered and over the course of a week I have found it easier to use. Product manufactured in China for Lather & Wood.I'm so impressed I've ordered a second one which I'll keep in my toiletry kit in my locker at work.NOTE: The unbranded blades supplied with this razor are of a high standard and provide a good shave.

A Luxurious and Eco-Friendly Shaving Upgrade: My Experience with Lather & Wood Safety Razor
Switching to the Lather & Wood safety razor was a refreshing change from my usual multi-blade razors. Its sleek design not only looks good but also provides a surprisingly comfortable grip, making the shave smoother and closer than what I'm used to.Positives:- The razor offers an exceptionally close shave, a significant improvement over traditional razors.- Its design is both elegant and functional, enhancing the overall shaving experience.- The use of disposable blades is a great plus for the environment, reducing plastic waste.Negatives:- There's a small learning curve. As a first-timer, I had a little trouble knowing how to get started.- The packaging is sleek, but could benefit from a guide and maybe a sample of shaving cream (which they offer as well).Overall, the Lather & Wood razor is now part of my shaving routine, balancing luxury with sustainability. It's ideal for anyone looking to upgrade their shave, though new users should be prepared for a brief adjustment period.

Great Razor
I recently purchased the black safety razor and it was my first time using a single blade razor. I was impressed with the overall experience and the clean shave it provided. The black finish of the razor was also well-done and didn't feel cheap. I would definitely recommend this razor to others.

Works Well
I loved using the Lather and Wood safety razor. It provided a clean and smooth shave, thanks to its single blade design. The razor itself feels sturdy and well-crafted. My only complaint is that it only came with 5 blades.

No blades included.
Seems great, but literally 0 blades in it when I was promised 5

The Closest Shave!
This razor was the best razor I’ve used in a while! I had a very close shave with no cuts and no razor bumps after! I would definitely recommend this! 10/10!

Take it slow
This was my first time ever using a safety razor so a little under experienced. I’m used to the standard brand name razor. Over all it was a great experience. Almost more therapeutic than usual shaving. I took my time with it more and was more focused.I enjoy the design of the razor. The sleek look and the overall feel. Seems like a closer shave from what I’m used to. I did nick myself a few times but I kind of expected it. First time ever using it so was bound to happen. I’m sure as I use it more I’ll be better about it.I Enjoyed the packaging. Would be great to come with a sample size of shaving cream too along with directions of installing the razor and how to really utilize the razor properly. Especially for first timers.

Solid Razor with a Learning Curve
This razor cuts very well, it has a solid heft to it and changing out the blades is very simple. There is that learning curve however in which you have to find the right angle to move, otherwise you might nick yourself.
