Magnetic Makeup Palette Insert -

I was mislead to believe that this insert would also fit an original version (old design) of the doll up case and it doesn't at all. Then again it was from a seller on mercari who also lied about the condition of the case. I ended up having to buy the newer version and it fit perfect. But I prefer the color and design of the original case.

It’s a tight fit in my dollup case, I thought there’d be more room so when I close the case there is a bit more resistance than I had anticipated. It’s almost as if the case will pop open with the insert in it. I guess only time will tell. I may not use it at all because I’m worried it will damage my case. Magnet is high quality but I just love the case so much I don’t want to mess it up using this insert in it daily.

Love this.....dont need it for everyday but when i travel i love taking as little as possible and this helps. Fits right into my dollup case!!

Original Review: While this insert is well-made, it obviously isn't an "OEM" product because it's too thick and long the corners to even fit inside my Dollup Beauty case, which I know is authentic because I bought it directly from the Dollup Beauty website. Moreover, the fact that it's not even offered on the brand's website, confirms my suspicions.Updated Review (with new pics): I don't take trashing a product likely, and make every effort to confirm that any problems I have aren't user error. In this case, I filled out an online contact form on the Dollup Beauty sit to share my suspicions about the product's authenticity and to notify them that someone might be selling a bootleg product under their brand name. When I didn't hear back after a few days, I pulled the trigger on my negative review. Well, they saw the review and called me. During the conversation, I learned that the person who responds to their online contacts was on leave and they were behind on reviewing her emails (they're a small outfit so it was understandable). I also learned that the insert was designed for the "new" version of their case, which is about 3/8" deeper and 1/8" longer (Note: this wasn't mentioned in the product description when I purchased my insert). Since I didn't own, the new case, they kindly sent me one so I could accurately review the insert.Well folks, both the insert and the new case live up to the Dollup Beauty standards, but I already acknowledged that the insert was well-made in my initial review. What I need to add, is how the Dollup Case 2.0 case and insert work great together, allowing you to conveniently pack a full face of makeup in a case that works as great evening clutch.Note: This does not work with the original Dollup Makeup Clutch

This is an insert to the Dollup Case, so there is no actual product to apply, but the insert and case are perfect for traveling. This is a great thing for anyone who travels.
