YITAHOME Cat Cave & Tower - Multifunctional Cat House with Scratching Post & Toy, Basic Cat Bed and Hide, Grey

I dithered for ages about what bed to buy for the new cat we were adopting - I was told she likes to hide so this seemed like it might fit the bill. When it arrived I was immediately reassured about the quality - each of the parts feel well made and strong. It came with the tools needed to put it together - a very easy process needing minimal instructions. It all fit together really well - no sagging/loose bits or stray fabric threads.The floor levels have a soft surface for the cats to get cosy in/on and the outer fabric is a good quality and happens to be a pretty close match for my sofas. The cat took to it as soon as she was let out of the carrier by the foster mum who brought her to her new home. She snuggled down in the lower level and then later found she could go up a level where she likes to peep out of the smaller hole. She hasn't made it to the top level yet but she's still quite tiny. Photo is moments after she arrived - we'd put things with both familiar and new smells nearby and she was happy peeking out, but enjoyed the security of a hiding place.My only small issue is I couldn't decide where to place it, as with 3 sides being useful (entry/exit holes on two sides and a scratching area on the third) the corner I had planned to pop it in made one of the holes inaccessible, and she does like to come out of it, so it's currently against a flat wall instead. Not a problem really and not the fault of the maker.Overall I was very pleased with this and even more so when the cat took to it too - you never know whether they'll prefer the purchase or the box it comes in, but this was a great buy and would happily recommend it.

Easy to build and a good size both cats love to play on it

Nach 2 Tagen viel die Bommel ab, dabei haben meine Katzen nicht damit gespielt. Der graue Stoff ist wahnsinnig kratzempfindlich und zieht sofort sichtbare Fäden. Ungeeignet für einen Katzenkratzbaum. Auch das Sisal hält nicht wirklich was aus. Kratzturm seit genau 2 Monaten in Benutzung und er ist durchgefallen. Keine Kaufempfehlung für knapp 50€. Da gibt's wesentlich stabilere.
