Worth the money
Well worth the money in my opinion.I've used this almost daily for over 2 months now, coming from a cheap 'coffee scale' that wouldn't stay zeroed.I've mostly used this when pulling espresso shots, but have also used it as a general kitchen scale. It works very well in both situations. Nice and accurate, and gives repeatable weights.Battery life is incredible, too. I still haven't had to charge it in a little over 2 months. Hasn't even lost a bar on the battery indicator. And that's with almost daily use as both a coffee and a general kitchen scale. The 0.1g accuracy has been great for single dosing coffee beans. And the timer combined with flow rate has been perfect for dialing in grind size. Makes it super easy to see if you're too coarse or too fine.I wish the silicone mat wasn't so easy to nudge about, but other than that, it's a well thought out coffee scale. And I haven't had any issues when using it on my espresso machine. Actually stays zeroed on my drip tray, thanks to the entire underside being flat.I highly recommend it. Even though it might cost more than others, this is the one you want for espresso. It's been a vast improvement on my cheap £20 immitation coffee scale, and I wish I'd bought it sooner.

Compact, functions well but very sensitive touch controls and quite expensive
This scale is intended to be used for weighing coffee, either in pour-over mode or in espresso mode. In the latter mode it sits on the drip tray of an espresso machine and starts automatically when the coffee percolates through, enabling one to determine the coffee flow rate. I have only used it in conventional mode, to weigh coffee beans and to weigh water added to coffee grounds in an Aeropress. The weighing range is up to 2kg and it is sensitive to 0.1g. The display is clear and it is responsive, perhaps over-responsive, to touch. Moreover when tared to zero the digital display sometimes is not completely stable. Overall I am happy with the scale and do not regret my purchase. However it is not perfect and I think it is over-priced compare with some of the competition, though this may be because I do not need all its several modes.

Excellent for precise espresso making
Sleek and well made. Low profile makes positioning under portafilter very easy. Espresso mode works well although there is a delay of a couple seconds after first drip before timer starts. Timer stops after last drop, which is ideal (on some scales, timer only stops when cup is removed, which is not really practical). When weighing beans, scale is sometimes a little unresponsive to addition of single beans, but this is easily accommodated.

Failed after a few months
I bought this scale 9 months ago, I was surprised by how sensitive the buttons seemed to be but got eventually used to it. However the number readings have been unreliable lately. Like staying at 140g despite me adding water in my V60. This makes it unusable. I'd say it's way overpriced for what it is. Save your money and get any 0.1g scale you'll be better off as they all eventually break.

Annoying buttons, overpriced
Altogether the scale is good functionality. Remembers the programme next day - perfect. However the buttons are very annoying forms some reason, not sure whether its their placement or sensitivity but its a real ache to switch between programmes or reset for a new a second brew. Also for what it does it is probably too expensive, you can get an Acaica for almost this price.

Scaled up
This was an impulse purchase instead of a much more e pensive acaia scales. They work well for espresso and v60. Really glad I bought them.Update: it's a year since I bought them, they are still working but the power button is beginning to show signs off failing. Flickering display until you get the right spot with the switch. Luckily they have the alternative off button

good quality
Well made easy to use and I like the mechanical switch for on and off, rather than the touch button a big plus for me. Quick response time so weighing for drip is a breeze. Only possible down side depending on usage, it's a bit big for weighing espresso as you pour.
