Slightly difficult to categorise, but a tasty beer
This is an interesting beer. To me it tastes somewhere between an amber ale, a lager and a bitter. It's a fairly light taste overall with a medium bitter finish. A friend who's a lager drinker said they wouldn't normally drink anything like a bitter, but were quite happy with this.In my view it's a tasty, not too heavy ale with a malty flavour profile and a fairly strong citrus aroma. It's very drinkable, although possibly too heavy to be a "session" type of drink. The 24 cans are individually boxed into packs of four, which is handy for storage.

Lovely Brewdog beverage
I've had many Brewdog ales before and I have some favourites, having not tried this one before I was super tempted to give it a try and see what it was like.Firstly this is a well priced 24 pack which contains 440ml sized cans, which is fairly standard size. Now for the main bit, the taste.I guess I can't really comment on the fact it has aromas of this that and the other, but what I can say is that shore leave is a really nice easy to drink ale.In a way it is a fairly soft not overly gassy drink. I found after having a couple of them to be fair less filling and bloating over traditional larger etc.It has that typical Brewdog background taste that you'll find in most of their brews. But I can definitely say that this is a really nice easy to drink ale that I think most people would like and enjoy.

Very nice flavour
I don't normally drink ale, I am a lager person, but got these to try out over Christmas. They definitely had a caramel flavour, fresh like a lager, but sweet. I think I am an amber ale convert now.

A nice Saturday night beverage!
Already a customer of Brewdog (recommend Punk IPA and Hazy Jane)Comes in a crate with six separate 4 packs. For people thinking Brewdog is expensive, they use 40 times more hops in their beer, than your typical retail pint. This is why you get the individual taste from Brewdog.Thought I would try this on a Saturday night. So nicely chilled, I poured one(or two!)It's more of a Classic light amber ale than other Brewdog varieties.Hoppy with a frothy white head. Very tasty malty, caramel with a bit of citrus. Can recommend this, along with my other 2 favourites.

Tasty craft beer
BrewDog Shore Leave 24 x 440ml cansThis Brewdog ‘Craft’ beer is quite drinkable. It has a pleasant ‘hoppy’ taste and is pretty smooth. There is a hint of Citrus in the aroma but I can’t quite work out what it is. It reminds me of pale ale from years past but with a stronger, almost bitter taste. It’s not cheap but I would rather drink this than some other cheaper beers at half the price. If like me, you dislike lager, give this a try!

Overall didn't like
This shore leave beer is alright, at first smell and taste i wasn't sure, very strange smell and strong taste, after a few i didn't care, comes in seperate packs of 6 with 4 cans at 440ml, 4.3vol alc, i shared these with family over Christmas and new year with various mixed opinions, most overall didn't like it.

A nice, light beer
I am normally a lager drinker, but do occasionally like a light beer. I find a lot of craft beers a bit too heavy, but not this one. Shore Leave is a light beer, very easy to drink, but at the same time has a nice, fairly sharp taste, which I like, and is not too gassy out of the can. I am really enjoying this brew, and am rapidly becoming a convert to BrewDog! If you are a drinker of lagers and light but tasty beers, this one is well worth a try, and doesn't cost the earth.
