This is a pretty complete starter set for pipe smoking. It has everything you'll need (and maybe one thing you don't need.) I smoked a pipe 30 years ago but got rid of all my pipe stuff when my asthma got bad. I recently decided that I missed, and YOLO, it so I thought I'd go with this starter set in case I can't handle it.These are the things I received:1. Rosewood pipe2. The finish is smooth and uniform, and the carving is even and symmetrical. The bowl itself is a little rough, but that shouldn't be a huge problem. The pipe tool is pretty cheaply made from stamped steel, but it should do the job. The tobacco pouches are a semi-sturdy plastic material with zip lock-style closure. It should keep the tobacco moist, although they may not last for a long time. It's nice that there is a soft carry bag for the pipe, as I wouldn't want to carry the whole kit with me everywhere. The case will be great for going on trips though. The remaining kit is pretty basic stuff, nothing seems particularly poor quality, with the exception of the corncob pipe. I never understood the appeal of those, although some swear by them. In this case, the included corncob pipe is super small. I have a feeling this corncob pipe is meant for smoking a different kind of herb.Overall, I would recommend this as a starter set for anyone who is curious about pipe smoking. You won't break the bank, you'll get everything you need, and if it works out for you, you can upgrade the pipe and still have a nice case to store your accessories in.

The Horns Bee Rosewood Pipe set is a better-than-average pipe set for new pipe smokers. It has everything that you could want: 2 pipes (Rosewood and mini-corncob), case and pipe bag, bowl screens and tenon filters, cleaners, bowl knocker/tapper, cleaning tool, 2 resealable tobacco bags, a pipe stand, and 2 silicone mouth piece guards. The only thing missing is your favorite pipe tobacco.Quality is average, where the rosewood pipe looks and feels great, it has cutting errors on the mortise. This doesn't affect the fit of the tenon, but after some time and wear/tear, will no longer fit the tenon. Also, the bowl is painted on with some unknown substance that's supposedly fireproof. I don't like the idea of smoking something unnecessary (my other wood pipes have no such coating I'm aware of) that also might house some other chemical I don't want to breathe (yes, I know, the pipe smoke probably has all those same carcinogens).Overall, I recommend this pipe set for anyone needing a quick replacement or is new to the pipe smoking scene. It's got everything you'll need, and will likely last for a few years if taken care of well.

This is a really excellent beginner's pipe kit as it contains a lot of the essentials that a beginner would need and instead of buying individual pieces that'll probably cost a lot, it's all conveniently packed into this kit. It contains the Pipe (mine was the Flat wood that has the unique pipe head), a corn cob pipe, a cork knocker, 2 metal pipe cleaners, a semi permanent filter with o ring seals, 2 rubber mouth pieces, a pipe stand, some silver screens, some pipe cleaners, a pouch, and 2 plastic airtight pouches; as a bonus, everything comes in a neat little zippered pouch that can be repurposed for carrying other stuff or used as your main pipe pouch later on. Pretty much has everything except the lighter and the tobacco. I suggest watching some videos on packing a pipe and start off with the corn cob pipe for your trial and error purposes, as you don't want to risk damaging your actual pipe, corn cob pipes are disposable and last for quite a few uses. This kit has everything you need to get you started on your pipe smoking journey.

This is a very nice starter kit that has practically everything you need. The flat wood pipe is very well made and visually pleasing. Feels good in the hand. The addition of the little corn cob pipe is thoughtful, as it's useful as a practice piece for a beginner. Also good for fishing trips and porch sitting. Generally, these things can take a beating before they're too gone to enjoy. Lots of tools and accessories to keep your pipes at optimal performance. Everything comes housed in a sturdy zipper case that looks like it's going to last awhile. All in all, everything here is perfect for a beginner, and it's so economically priced that you really can't go wrong.

Flat wood is Resin not wood at all and putting the screw back in the bottom is near impossible if ever taking it apart. Flimsy and not even worth half of what I paid. Look at that cob pipe, what a joke!

The Rosewood manufactured pipe is made of good quality wood and has similar features needed for a basic enty pipe for someone interested in using a pipe. I have another pipe made of Italian wood and a little bit better quality but this pipe from Horns Bee is a good pipe for the beginner. This kit has enough items to maintain and keep your pipe clean and functioning for an extended period of time. Very impressed with the Rosewood pipe and accessories in this kit.

This is a nice big pipe...its beautifully made and fits my hand so well....It sits perfectly on its own too so there's no need for a pipe stand...the bowl is huge and holds a lot...the kit also included a baby corncob pipe and cleaning tool and was all inside a nice carrying case...its a great set for the price
