never thought I needed one until..... I did. To set up my old Delta table saw you just eyeballed the angle. Now I can cut a true 22.5^ on the table saw...as well as check other blade angles.

The laser helps a lot.

As a HVAC tech this is handy to have in the tool bag. Easy to use and the magnets are very strong for iron pipe hanging and smaller to fit in a tool pouch than a bubble level.

Simple to use

This is not a level for checking how square your house frame is. The best use for this is comparing how off things are from Eachother. That is unless you have a nice perfectly leveled granite metrology table to zero this on.As for the laser? Absolutely useless and would have been best left out all together.

I used this on my table saw that I've had stops setup at 0 and 45 precisely for some time. Once I zeroed it on the table this thing read dead on for everything from 45-90deg without a problem. I did some 45deg cuts and they matched up perfectly to make a 90deg corner so I'll keep using it and hopefully it will stay true for the long haul.

This is a digital angle gauge. It is pretty simple: You turn it on, put it on an item that is level and zero it out. You can now put it on anything else, and it will show the angle of that item, referenced to the original set.It can give you an absolute level indication like a bubble/spirit level will do, or you can set it to give you a relative angle against another item.In testing, it showed accurate angles at all positions, with an accuracy tolerance of +0/-0.1 degrees.It has magnets on three sides which is helpful for sticking it to steel pieces that you may be measuring. The case is sturdy aluminum. It runs on a set of included AAA batteries, and comes with a case.It has a "hold" button. This is used when you want to measure something and then have it hold/store that measurement - useful when you are measuring something you can't see.
