Works well, no obvious flaws
The finish and details on this regulator are not "Snap-on" class - - but it works, it doesn't leak, and the price is great.Mine came with a sticking low pressure gauge - - the case had been slightly bent in shipment. Rather than go through the hassle of return, I just pulled the case off and fixed it. Once straightened out, perfect operation.I also like the comparatively huge gauges, really easy to read even from the welding bench.

Warning!
You cannot use a product if all the required parts are not there. I tried this product three times because the price seemed fair even though other reviewers cautioned about their product missing pieces. I should have listened. My first item never showed and was deemed "lost". The two subsequent replacements were missing the gas regulator keys. Without the key the product is vertually useless for other than a paperweight. I am getting a refund and ordering from another vendor.

Arrived missing parts
T-Handle used to regulate pressure was missing. External packaging was good but bubble pack regulator came in was open. There is a bubble in the packaging for the T-Handle but none was in the box. Returned for a replacement.

Got the ful product this time
I also received this product with the "T" brass handle missing. I don't know if I received the one that the other customer sent back or what but the packaging was open a little and no handle was inside. Both the product's features description and the package's description state that it is included so why are they sending out these handle-less products? Regulator should be fine once I receive the entire product, the last one fit my "B" fitting hose and flashback arrestor just fine.Update: This product works just fine with all the parts and is pretty heavy duty feeling.

Do Not order
Despite several comments that indicated people ordered the regulator and received them with missing tee-handles for the valve: I ordered one anyway. I too received a regulator missing the brass tee-handle. I returned it for replacement and received yet another regulator missing the brass tee-handle. At that point, I quit. Amazon gave me a refund and I bought a new regulator from my local welding shop. It appears someone is stealing the brass tee-handles for the scrap value but who knows. Don't waste your time trying to get a complete regulator at this time from this source

Review: Ameriflame Acetylene Regulator
The Ameriflame Acetylene Regulator is what they claim it is. It has large T-handles, easy to read gauges, and surprisingly, a very fine adjustment for regulating the output pressure. I am currently using it and it is satisfactory for my purposes. However, my needs required a different output fitting, one that would connect the regulator to copper tubing. To do this, I need a standard pipe thread to male flare union.I removed the original, pipe thread to hose union and after removing the original fitting, I found a hard plastic washer in the opening. The washer was placed there by the manufacturer to seal the original fitting. Placing a washer in an opening to seal a pipe threaded fitting is not acceptable. The opening in the body of the regulator is a tapered female pipe thread. A connection of pipe thread to pipe thread should not require anything more than pipe dope or sealing tape. When I tried to install a new standard union, (pipe thread to flared union), the male pipe thread side would not go into the acetylene body far enough to seal. The reason is that the original bore into the regulator body is to deep. Therefore, the new union could not go into the body far enough to seal as pipe thread to pipe thread connectors should. To solve this problem, I too had to put a washer into the opening, then install the union. What is the purpose of a tapered pipe thread if the only way to stop the connection from leaking is to use a washer to seal the pipe thread to pipe thread connection? For my needs, this unit is on line; it will not be moved, or adjusted, and it isworking; and I'm happy with it.The problem I described with this unit must be fixed.jd
