Not for me..
I think that, as others have mentioned, this is one of those products which is kind of jumping on the band-wagon of smoking tea, which is having a bit of a moment (yep, actually rolling tea up in a cigarette paper, lighting it, and smoking it...I know, it’s insane what people will do for novelty value). It’s certainly advertising itself in that way, arriving in a resealable tobacco pouch and having slightly stoned-looking characters on the packet, drawn in the old Freak Brothers style. And I’ve got to say, as a tea, it’s...just weird. Not at all pleasant. To be fair, tea is a very subjective thing, and one person’s ‘refreshing’ is another person’s ‘dishwater’, so this is just my view. But any tea that you have to steep for ten minutes before drinking is a bit odd, as the water will have cooled so much that it’s lukewarm, which is never a good thing for tea. Maybe if you made a large pot of it, or kept it hot on the stove whilst it brewed, it might stand a chance? As it was, the first cup got binned. The second cup got re-warmed, but was still very weak. I tried honey in it, and it didn’t so much improve the taste as make it a different kind of odd. Tobe fair, it did have a hint of coffee in the smell as it was brewing, but that doesn’t translate to taste.I do drink herbal tea lot, but it tends towards the chamomile, nettle or mint range. This is both a lot more bland, and a lot more bitter. Maybe I’m being swayed by the description of a ‘coffee’ tea, as it gave me certain expectations. This seemed to have way too many ingredients, so that in the end none of them were discernible, and it just tasted earthy. I should mention that you definitely need to strain it too, as there are both twiggy bits and very fine ash in it, and everything doesn’t sink, as it does in some herbal teas. All in all, I gave it four tries in the end, but it didn’t get any better, so I’m afraid I can’t give this more than three stars. Just my personal view.

An interesting, unique and suggestive herbal tea blend
I ordered a few different flavours of Dutch Mix herbal tea, this coffee-flavour version having a distinct element of coffee to the aroma although it translates less strongly to the taste. The ingredients list features quite a large number of spices and herbs (although not the one you might be thinking of judging by the packaging...), seemingly everything is natural and it certainly makes for a unique and to my mind very pleasant flavour. I am fairly relaxed in my tea-making so the ten-minute steeping time (just use a teapot, then it won't get cold) is no problem, although after that it tends to get a little bitter; the instructions are simple, just pour in the water and wait for the time, which is a nice change from the kind of instructions you can get for some specialist teas with their overly fussy and specific temperature and timing requirements. Overall, a very interesting herbal tea, enough supposedly for thirty servings an a little on the pricey side but certainly good quality.

Goes cold before its ready.
The media could not be loaded. First time trying this type of tea and I had high expectations that sadly were not met.I followed the guideline as to ratio and used 90 degree water not 100 as recommended then left it to steep for 10mins. It appeared very barklike with a lot od stalk and stem. Mixing intermittently during the steeping I looked for signs it was ready like colour change in the liquid. There was little change. After 10mins I strained the tea and tried it. Sadly through the allotted time the tea had actually gone cold and not overly pleasant to drink.I did not add either sugar or milk. The taste did not resemble a coffee flavour at all, it had hardly any flavour just like drinking tainted water. You do get a lot in the pouch and the fact the pouch if fully resealable for freshness is excellent just the taste was not for me

Horrible taste
Herbal coffee comes in a sealed pouch for freshness.Spoon mix into cup,add boiling hot water and leave for 10 minutes. You will need a strainer to strain out mix when ready to drink. There was a faint aroma of coffee. The taste was awful. Tasted like disinfectant so I only managed 1 sip.Obviously this is my taste so others may enjoy it.The mix itself looked good quality and there's plenty in pouch.

A small 30g of Coffee (?) flavoured herbal mix
This is an interesting coffee flavoured herbal drink with a lot of other ingredients included in the mixture. The minuscule text on the rear of the packet lists the ingredients as: Basil, Liquorish, Clove, Turmeric, Bdellium, Ground Elder, Cinnamon, Tendu leaves, and Added Natural Flavour! All I can say is that it has a unique taste and I wonder where the Coffee comes into it. It is a very different herbal drink and I can only say try it and see if you like it. The company that produces this herbal drink also markets a number of other herbal drinks, but they are quite expensive if they are not to your particular taste.
