strong collar for springer spaniel
this is for a new springer dog @1 year old+i've bought Ancol collars for all my springers but this one does not look as robust/good as my others (had them for years) collar is quite narrow and even narrower at the eyelets nicely padded thoughtime will tell * older ones have gotten soaked and they dry well to same shape hopefully this one will be the same

Has not stood up well to wear
The colour, fit and sturdiness of this collar is very good.The only thing I am disappointed with is that it has started to fray quite badly. My pup is a rescue and does not seem to be used to wearing collars, so she would initially scratch at it. She doesn't have long nails and wears the collar right in the middle length, so she is not a big dog for the collar. It has frayed in multiple places across the width of the band, however, and she has only had it on for around 3 weeks.

Nice collar but not durable.
The collar looked great on but frayed quite quickly. My dog does love to jump in every ditch, puddle and pond as well as the occasional swamp which probably didn’t help! Might last longer for dogs with a calmer disposition!
