Paragon-Outdoor Valencia Gazebo, 11' x 14' Sunbrella Gazebo

After receiving the gazebo I decide to return it. The manufacturer offers a good warrantee but I did not think it was sturdy enough for my needs. I am concerned about the weight of water that might pool on the fabric causing the supports to bend.

I got this Gazebo to arrive right after I closed on a house. Some parts where bent and customer service sent me replacement parts right away. Make sure you anchor the Gazebo as instructed, I decided to wait and a rain storm came by and I had a terrible surprise when I found it flew to the middle of the yard. Than it rained again, and the water collected on top of the cover and bent the top bars. I called customer service again, this time they asked for pictures which I sent and they immediately sent me the bent parts. So I have to say great customer support. Being that I have a Patio with stone floors, I tied up 2 blocks on each pole. I also unhook the cover and leave only 2 ends hooked when ever I hear it's going to rain. I do live in upstate NY that when it rains it pours but I still find it to be high maintenance that I have to keep up with the weather in order to save my Gazebo. That being said it looks very high end it matches my Patio furniture perfectly and the shade is stupendous. Customer service is very good and professional.Update: April 2015--I'm going on my 4th Summer with this Gazebo. and it was one my best purchases. when it rains i unhook all the corners except 2 or water will collect and I remove the top every winter. I recommend this product!

The set up took a while and requires a lot of double guessing and playing with tools. The holes are not perfectly alligned and the screws can easily get damaged as you try to install it. However, once you set it up it is pretty nice and sturdy.No matter how careful you are, the canopy will at some point break due to sun damage or wind. I have been pretty good at removing it whenever the wind advisories are out there, but still it finally tore after about a year. I have tried to contact the company to order another canopy or inquire about any discounts and/or warranty but it has not been easy. Definately a 4 start if they can figure out a way to give after sale support but currently I can't give it more than 2 stars.

Love this gazebo. We have it bolted to a concrete deck here in the mountains of Va. Have had huge winds and no problems with it at all. Looks great and stands up to the wind and the rain too. has to be 20 degrees cooler under the Gazebo in the heat of the day. We used Redhead bolts to secure it to the concrete. easy as pie. 3/8x3". They work fine. Now I'm not saying it will hold up under a snow load or in a hurricane, but it has done fine thru some nasty thunderstorm's here in Va. Not hard to put together. The wife and I put it together in about 2.5 hours. You'll need two ladders, 6ft. tall. Take your time and the directions are very easy to understand. Once completed, enjoy your favorite beverage under your completed Gazebo. Update 2015: Back together for the spring. All is well. The spring rains and winds are here and the canopy frame held up fine over the harsh winter. The wind blows thru the canopy fabric just fine and all is well for another year of fun under the sun. This is a very well made gazebo and we love here in the mountains. The new one made by this company is much smaller, 10x13. Love the bigger style!!

We live in Chicago, near Wrigley Field and have a roof top deck that gets full sun all day. We bought the Gazebo to add a little shade and it looks amazing and with the couches, love seats and firepit creates an amazing outdoor space. Best thing it's well designed to let wind flow thru the top, so it does not feel like it will blow away. We did add about 80 lbs of sand to each column to give it more stability on really windy days. It arrived to our house with one of the polls being bent, so we called the company who sold it and within 3 days had new polls at no charge. We even notice the price had been reduce after we bought it and they agreed to refund us back part of our payment. Now that's great customer service.

This is listed as a gazebo with a SUNBRELLA canopy. BEWARE of sellers who ship an inferior quality NON Sunbrella product with inferior fabric canopy.

We love the gazebo we purchased. It's well build and the instructions were easy to follow. We have it on our pool deck, but didn't want to bolt it to the desk so I took the recommendations of a couple of others and filled each pole with about 75 lbs. of sand and that worked great. I put the sand in plastic bags to help limit rusting. We also put curtains on it. We live in north Florida and get a lot of strong afternoon thunder showers. We've had several so far and no leaks or problems. This gazebo cost me a third of what others would have and it's a much better product. I was able to buy new patio furniture with the money I saved.

Item is very well designed and built. I installed it on a heavy brick patio and poured about ten pounds of pea gravel into each leg and used larger anchors that came with the kit for added safety. I'm sure the anchors that came with the kit would have been fine though. We had very high winds here yesterday and everything was perfect. The item was well worth the money and now allows me to use the back patio daily which we couldn't do before because of the direct sun made it too hot out there. Looking forward to many more years of service from this item, as we really do love it.
