I have only used it to shred potatoes to brown them on the griddle and its very effective. I will try some other stuff eventually. Easy to take apart and clean. Easy to set up and use. Power seems good at least for potatoes, too bad I didn't try cheese yet so my comment is only so useful.

The black attachment broke... it's very hard to pull off attachment to clean 😪 had to buy another attachment thank God the seller sell them separate

I purchased this electric option because I was having shoulder surgery and still wanted to be able to shred my own cheese. While it is easier than the hand crank one I had previously it still has some drawbacks for me. The base does not suction to my counter as firmly as I would like. I have only used one set of the blades so far and that is to grate cheese. The assembly of the blades and other parts are easy to put together. It makes grating cheese much quicker than the hand crank option. The negatives for me are having to make sure I have a hand on the main frame because the suction cups do not hold it in olace while I am having to push down on the grater side to get the cheeses going through. Assembly, dismantling and cleaning are all easy.

I dislike the locking mechanism of the blade holder slips out of main piece very easily.

Made with low quality plastic pieces that broke after a few uses.

Works great but the attachments pieces are very delicate. Bought it in Sept and 2 of them are broken just from normal use. Got on here to see if I can order new ones but don't seem to be able to.
